Not bad results for us tonight overall:- Morecambe 1 Shrewsbury 4 Newport 1 Luton 0 Dagenham 2 Plymouth 0 Wycombe 2 Accrington 2 York 0 Bury 1 Exeter 0 Stevenage 0
2 rivals winning, 2 drawing and 2 losing. Tomorrows match could be very pivotal, a win and we go 5 points clear and 9 points ahead of 4th place, lose and we still stay top by 2 points and 6 points a head of 4th, draw and we have a 3 point lead and a gap of 7 points to 4th. I really hope we approach this game looking for the 3 points. Sarfend have done better away than at home and I expect a real tight battle.

We need to win. This is now a genuine opportunity to stamp a bit of authority on this promotion race and now we have a golden opportunity.

Yes, I over used "opportunity". I don't care. I'm excited for tomorrow.

Phil, Moose, SCS, McCrory, Weir and Naylor will do their bit. We just need to score. But I will take a draw to be 3 points ahead of the next 2... COYB!!!

It's another HUGE game tomorrow
Seems like they all are now tbh
I was desperate for York to equalise v Bury
A win for us tomorrow would be incredible result.
But even then we would have work still to do.
I'm nervous though. Lose tomorrow and we are dragged right back down into the mix I feel.

Win tomorrow and we are still only 9 points ahead of Bury with 27 to play for, I don't care who they or we have to play… we are not up. We are in a great position - we should take advantage of it but way too early for me...

When we win tomo night we are 5 pts ahead of Wycombe and Shrews (3 pts ahead if we draw) and 9 pts ahead of Bury (7 if we draw). When we win tomorrow night that's it, we're up (not mathematically though ) Believe!

After following the Brewers and football generally for nigh on 50 seasons believe me no one gets promoted in March. There will be many twists and turns yet I'm afraid.

I admire confidence and optimism but some of the things being said are tempting fate I think.
Kind of thing fans of bigger less humble clubs would say.
We shouldn't take anything for granted and for me there's still a lot of very very hard work and tough points to win.

I don't believe in fate but I am a realist and can 'do the math'.
We are in a good position, you can 'believe' but nothing is settled/will be settled for a few weeks yet. I don't get this need to declare it a done deal or should we lose tonight revert to the 'woe is me, we're all doomed'...

It's a total nonsense to say if albion win tonight, they are up? A little respect for the rest of the league please,10 games to go before anything will be decided. Win Lose or Draw will have no effect yet on the outcome for promotion.

Tonight's game v Southend settles nothing. 3 points though helps no end in our aim, but that is all. There will still be 27 points to play for, for each club.

I too have been watching football for nigh on 50 years, and know 'most' of the facts being posted are true. nothing will be settled tonight. I'm not superstitious or believe in tempting fate. To say "Win Lose or Draw will have no effect yet on the outcome for promotion" is daft... "should we lose tonight (there will be no) revert(ing) to the 'woe is me, we're all doomed'..." in this camp. Being optimistic is more fun than fretting.
But a little optimism goes a long way in making the ride enjoyable.
As I posted last week: People have two choices, to believe that we will continue our excellent season or worry and fret that we won't.
there are 4 scenarios: believe and we do go up believe and we don't go up worry and we do go up worry and we don't go up
the only ones that bring any joy, up until the critical moment when we know for sure, are the first two. IF we fail, even believing until that point would have brought some happy days. Ya gotta believe. Give it a try!

I think 3 points tonight would be a massive indication of not only our promotion credentials but a big step towards the league 2 title. Something I believe we have shown we are capable of all season, when playing to our full capabilities?
Our major strength other than very capable individuals is the never say die attitude this squad has.
Let's roar them on to victory tonight and for as many of the remaining 9 games you can get too.
It's so close we can almost touch it!
COYB!

Who never went to eton park so cannot understand how far, this great football club has come from since its non league days!
