Thought I'd get the thread going for this one as it's only a few days away now!
Another 'must win' game for us given their position and poor away form. I certainly think we're capable of winning.
Hope for another entertaining game like the first 'leg'!

It won't be easy. Just been looking at the form recently, they have picked up of late, as difficult as the Swindon game I reckon.

I have just had a look... They have been doing well!
Beat Wigan away too. Which is tough.
Barnsley beat them which is handy. Hopefully we can do the same.

The game as with every other one will be tough and close. I expect us to edge it and hoping a change in goalkeeper may unsettle the defence enough to swing the balance in our favour. Hopeful of another good attendance too. I've got a Stoke fan paying his first visit along with an 11 year old Harry, who has started to follow us this season, now the owner of a hat, scarf, shirt and a half season ticket! Once a Brewer a Brewer for life.

Bring them to Stretton Social Club before the game TM A very friendly comfortable club with good beer, cobs and a friendly welcoming atmosphere £2.80 for a pint of top ale ! Plus as an added bonus I'll be there with Funky :-)

Can't post the link off my phone but the Blackpool Supporters Trust will be helping to raise funds for the Burton Albion Community Trust project which will see the new community facility and artificial pitch being built.
Now, considering what the Blackpool lot are going through I think this is an absolutely incredible gesture and evokes memories of what the Bournemouth supporters did for us a few years back. This is what football SHOULD be about.
Massive amount of respect due to the Seasiders.

Perhaps under JFH earlier in the season our central midfielders were simply showing solidarity with the Blackpool fans by occupying the centre circle and refusing to venture further forward!

Post by Reece Brown on FB , this is a fantastic gesture by the Blackpool Supporters Trust. It's extremely rare you have the away fans wanting to do a collection for the home team. However, it has been decided that fans of both teams will be doing the collection to share the gesture of goodwill from the Blackpool fans, with all proceeds going to the new community facility. With that in mind, I'm looking for 5 Burton fans to do the collection from 1pm at the stadium, outside the turnstiles. Can anyone interested please reply to this or message me directly as soon as possible. Thanks! m.burtonmail.co.uk/Burton-Albion-Blackpool-fans-dig-deep-fund/story-28427885-detail/story.html

League One » Blackpool Zeli Ismail could feature for Burton against Blackpool BLACKPOOL, LATEST NEWS UPDATE: 44 MINUTES AGO On-loan winger Zeli Ismail may return for Burton's Sky Bet League One clash against Blackpool. The Wolves loanee is back in training after receiving treatment for an ankle injury at his parent club. Brewers boss Nigel Clough could stick with the same side that beat Swindon on Monday. Burton are aiming to extend their unbeaten league streak to seven games. Goalkeeper Dean Lyness will be unavailable to feature against his parent club. Colin Doyle (ankle) may come in to the line-up for the first time since November 7 if he can prove his fitness or, if not, Kyle Letheren will fill in between the sticks. Lyness is due to return to Burton after this game anyway, while defenders Hayden White and Will Aimson, midfielder Andy Little and striker Elliot Lee are all slated to head back to their parent clubs too. Seasiders manager Neil McDonald, who remains without Henry Cameron (knee), Jack Redshaw (shin splints) and Lloyd Jones (ankle), is hopeful Martin Paterson can return from a calf strain. They actually looked a very capable team when we played them at Bloomfield Road despite of all the goings on behind the scenes. Gave us a run for our money and we were lucky to go in only 1 down at the break. The problem for them was that we edged back into the game and when Nasser equalised their heads went down and from then on there was only going to be one winner. They'll miss Redshaw who scored for them back in August against us as he's a quality player but they've still got quality in the team and as that article says the 4 goals shipped at Barnsley was uncharacteristic considering their recent form. Lyness has had quite a few clean sheets of late as well so he'll also be missed and I wouldn't be surprised if he goes back there for the rest of the season as his current loan is up. I know it looks like we'll be losing Matthews but Lyness definitely won't get games here and he will at Blackpool.
Great news about Zeli if he is back but if he plays I think I'll be wincing everytime anyone tackles him. I hope for his sake he can stay fit now and of course I think we'd all love a fit and firing Zeli in the team. I'd love to see Zeli on one wing, Nasser on the other and Beavon up top. Just imagine that...

According to the Offy the match is going to be really difficult! www.burtonalbionfc.co.uk/index.aspxMatchday live says Burton Albion v Burton Albion now that would be an interesting spectacle . This is one we should win, against Blackpool of course, 2-0 WIN for me.

I know we all probably miss having local games this time of year but that's taking it a bit too far...
Looking forward to this afternoon. Should be a good contest. Tight win again for me.

This 'should' be fairly straighforward. We are ticking along ok, they will have a keeper who hasn't played in 2 months. I really hope that Nigels little nudge to Nasser pushes him on to take his chances today. He is certainly capable of putting on a show.
