Well, Nasser got his first 10 minutes in the Championship today, and assisted on the only and winning goal, I for one am sure he is thrilled. Well done young man! I have no problem with him wanting to move onwards and upwards.
Btw...did anyone on here say we missed Nasser today?

Yes me - I thought we missed his ability to beat people and his creativity.

You always miss a good player, but nice to know that the lads he left behind did us proud by beating a strong Bradford in difficult conditions.

Just seen the goal and I think it was a little lucky, think Nasser meant it as a shot. Good luck to him he did good for the Brewers

Problem is we've missed Nasser since Jimmy left. His head had dropped, he was sulky, wasn't working for the team. So in that respect we didn't miss him yesterday because if he had played and been denied a move I'm sure he would've been in the same frame of mind and doing nothing for us.
If he finds his form now he's back under Jimmy then good for him and good for QPR. But no loss for us really because his heart wasn't in it anymore in my opinion.

As Nigel said, he could have had a hat trick vs Swindon. I think his heart was still here until after the Shrews game (he played 80mins). The deal was probably done after that game, he was on the bench at P'boro (to protect him from injury?) and left out of the squad at Rochdale (the announcement was made during that game). Of course he would have been no use to us if we had refused the transfer. But, I think it's a good deal for everyone involved.

I think there was a natural drop from Nasser after JFH left, but I only equate that to a lack of confidence/belief/effervescance (call it what you like) you get from a manager who gave you your big break and you really want to play for.
I did not notice a lack of effort, or him hiding, it just was't coming off as often as it had under JFH.
I also think that other teams had worked out his most likely tricks and that if he had stayed he would have found a new way of turning them inside out.
A good player and apparently, a top bloke.

Is he still doing ok with QPR? I know they've had a couple of good results lately but not looked to see if he was involved or not?

I agree! And fair play to him coming back to the school to see the kids later. All the best to him.

Yeah, that article is posted about 5-6 posts up this thread. This one is either a new visit or the BM have repeated themselves?

I seem to remember the other school he visited earlier, last month??? Is it the same school? So well done to him again for making the time to come back to the area to see his young fans.
