They have just announced on twitter that it's Tom Naylor who has signed
Great signing IMO
Potential to develop and already has contributed well.

Yes a not unexpected but very good signing I feel. He has a 2 year deal. He certainly impressed last season, and I look forward to seeing him in action for us.

Had a scout round and can find the same info as yourself, Jimmy must rate him, could be a Nasser or a Maletic ! We will have to wait and see, certainly he's a big lad ! Really pleased to see Tom Naylor sign, thought he was very committed and influencial once he settled in last season.

Very pleased that Tom has signed, I feel he will be a good player at L1 level. As for Timmy Thiele, I will have to trust Jimmy's judgment as I don't know anything about him apart from what I have read on the internet, which I must admit doesn't get me too excited, still in JFH we trust.

Tom Naylor will be the most important signing for me. If he'd have been here since the start of last season and played at the level he did in the few months he was on loan with us then he would've been my player of the season. Strong on the ball and in the tackle, rarely wastes a pass and his discipline in the defensive midfield role is phenomenal. It gives the attacking players more freedom to go and do what they're best at.

I didn't take to Naylor in his first few sub appearances, but that was probably a "we want immediate results" reaction. Agree, he stepped up and made the CM role his when Lenny was recalled by Blackburn. And I think he will be an important player, a leveller, for us this year.

There will be a chance to see the new signings and a potential trialist in tonights friendly at Gresley.
Fans will be able to see Darius Charles, Calum Butcher and Timmy Thiele for the first time in Albion shirts.
Fellow new signings Tom Naylor and Callum Reilly will be in the squad after joining permanently following loan spells with the Brewers.
There could also be one trialist.
Hasselbaink said: "I've got one on trial at the moment.
"I'll have another in Holland as well, but I don't want to get too many in on trial because it can upset the balance a little bit."

JIMMY Floyd Hasselbaink says Burton Albion are looking to replace Adam McGurk with someone who is even better. "We move on and we try to get someone in who's as good as him or even better."
Hasselbaink has already moved to bring in a striker in Timmy Thiele, 23, while another forward is expected to be on his radar this summer.
He said he will have a trialist in Holland during the 2 weeks the team is training there, maybe that will be another striker? Or maybe he'll be looking at Joey Suk who is a right midfielder who can score, and he's good with both feet??

It will be very interesting to see future transfer developments peacock, I am confident we will have a strong and competitive squad when the league 1 season kicks off.

Good signing I would say, the squad is shaping up nicely, my guess would be we will bring in another striker, maybe the player joining the training camp in Holland may be this player.

It has been posted on FB that Anthony O'Connor is back with us? Apparently he was watching the match today?? Happy with that if it's true?... He turned down a permanent offer from Plymouth in Jan. and he is a free agent as of July 1st I believe. Maybe he checking out his options? Just posted that he was wearing an Albion shirt!

Another post about Ant on FB...
"He was at the game yesterday in the training top with some of the lads. And a couple of players had told fans he had signed."

I really hope it's true - an immaculate performer in his loan spell.
