“We have had a great week in training and the lads are raring to go. Things feel different and they have taken onboard my comments ” 3.04pm 1-0 down. "Am happy with the group, Deji has been the best in training and we have dealt with the non negotiables very well"

Hello.
What’s the best pub in town to drink at, and is there a bar in your away end?
Thanks and good luck.

He'll probably throw him straight in on Saturday and keep him on for the full 90 😅 at left wing back

People say we haven't got strikers, and they do have a point, but we do have five or so on the books. Why not do something shocking, and actually play them? Not just one, but two or maybe even three? The more strikers we have on the pitch, considering we hoof it and only play it long, surely we'd have more chance of something coming off? Having one lone guy up there in Hugill, what chance does he have? We're not playing with any width either, which makes chance creation pretty non existent. Five shots last night, one on target. The problem is we've been debating tactics for months, Paterson WILL NOT budge on his failing project. You can guarantee that it will be five at the back against Reading, even with our defensive shortage. Go 4-4-2, or 4-3-3, have a go for a change, grow some balls Martin and stop being a soft wet fart all the time. But he will not. He has one setting and will not deviate from It. Surely Ben can hear the boos? Can he not see what we see ? His insistence in one up front and five at the back is beyond parody. The man is chronically out of his depth. The only silver lining for relegation is that hopefully he will be gone. We need a full root and branch clear out. Sort the pitch out. The catering, the marketing of the club. We need to get rid of half of the squad and a capable, astute manager who can adapt the team and get them actually attacking the opponents goal. Losing I can take, not having a go I cannot. Saturday could be toxic if we lose and play badly. Why not mix it up ? He literally has nothing else to lose as a week Monday he is down the job centre. Yes Ben can hear the boos without a doubt but as he has egg all over his face after what happened in January then there is probably very little he can do. Martin was probably the only one who would take it on.

Much better pubs (in my opinion) are, however, the Weighbridge, Devonshire, Coopers, Dog and Roebuck in town. All of those bar the Dog very handy for the railway station if you happen to be coming that way.

Nothing will be sorted out tomorrow with regard to the Brewers.
Even if we win (stop laughing) and the others lose, we can still be caught by Cheltenham.
If results go our way (Paterson's strategy) we could be safe at 10pm on Tuesday. Maybe.
But it looks like it's going down to the last game at Fleetwood, who at the moment can still escape. If everyone loses and they win twice, they'll stay up on goal difference.
Should be a little clearer at 5pm, if you can bear to look.

Can’t see them winning two out of two Peterborough and Stevenage. Kane Henmings will be up for it.

Might I be radical and suggest a four at the back for a change? Reading won't be hugely up for it given they have nothing to go for, so we might as well give it a chance. It's either that or we sit back with a 5-3-2 or 5-4-1 and go for the nil-nil.

I am (calmly & rationally) expecting us play 5 at the back and 1 up front.
Decent-ish first half and a second half collapse.
I really can't see it panning out any other way.
Please, please let me be wrong.

Four recognised defenders, but zero strikers.
He giveth with one hand and taketh away with the other.

Blimey! Looks like we're actually gonna go for it for once!
Mason up front on his own, but Helm and Powell can both get up and support.

Line up looks positive. I like Mason Bennett the way he battles for everything. Hope he can stay fit.
