Let’s start with the positives. I missed the 4th goal. And went to the navvy for a nice pint. Negatives. How many characters am I permitted per post ?

I'm not going to mention the first half. If Ian's allowed to have his shorts obsession (which I agree with), then I'm going to randomly discuss the Pirelli music over the last few weeks. LOSING my religion? GOING UNDERground? Love will TEAR US APART? TEARS of a CLOWN. It might be funny if I'd made this up. Subliminal messages to the team and fans. Cheers BAFC, they are working. I have not mentioned the shorts today... 🤣

That chip box that went down the left wing just before half time was our most exciting player, direct, quick, moist.

Yes....but can you think of a negative that has not already been written on this forum for the last month? Imagine you're not allowed to repeat yourself or anyone else...

He has to go tonight doesn’t he ? Surely ? Even the glass half full happy clappers surely must see he is out of his depth ? Ring mr warnock. 4 games.

No need to worry.
PVale & Cheltenham will lose the rest of their games, meaning we beat Cheltenham and stay up.
Right?.

Like I've said a million times.
Going down in this fashion is inexcusable. The lack of attempt at staying up is beginning to make me think it's intentional. If we go into the last game of the season needing to win or we're down, you can guarantee that clown would set us up just like he did today.
I've no doubts if we'd have brought in a more positive manager in January, even with the same or very similar squad, that we wouldn't even be discussing relegation right now. We'd be in lower mid-table comfortable and talking about next season.

When I saw the 532 formation I feared the worst, why wouldn't I, it's not worked. Could have played JB at full back, with Hamer other side, with Sam and Sweeney in middle. Can't understand why Harper ain't starting? Heard MP on radio, taking all the blame, not blaming any individuals, but what was Bola doing for the opener, and yet another goal scored on the break from either our corner, free kick or long throw in the attacking area. He says the players seem scared to play at home? Who's doing what, there's MP, Mills and Dryer on the sidelines. Better personnel in house I'd say, in JB, Barker and Gilroy? Think Ben will need to extend the early bird deadline with these results and performances.

January shambolic transfer dealings laid bare for all to see this afternoon where we were as pathetic and embarrassing as we've been in many a year. Couldn't even keep the score down to stop Vale from going above us. Christ, how bad must they be where we've taken 2 points from 10 games and they've only just drawn level with us.
Whilst I don't expect the fans to cheer us off after that I do feel slightly uncomfortable about the treatment of the manager who has basically been given a poison chalice with taking us on when he did. He hasn't covered himself in glory clearly but the problems of the club lie deeper than just what has happened over the last 10 games. This squad is nowhere near good enough to compete in this league and have shown that as soon as we are up against it there is nobody capable of pulling us round. Even the normally reliable defence and keeper are starting to look poor and I think they are just tired of the constant pressure and balls coming back. The last two opponents are decent and exposed our weaknesses big time.
I think after today the long throw with everybody going up has to stop. We haven't won a first contact from a Hamer throw in at least the last three games I have seen and today I think 3 of the 4 goals started with our long throw and them breaking on us. That's been coming a while.
Not a lot else to say that hasn't been said already. As somebody has already said it just leaves you feeling sad the way the season has gone and the reaction of our fans which has become toxic which some chants that whilst understandable don't help anything at all.
Anyway, on a positive note if Cheltenham fail to beat Carlisle and Vale lose by two or more at Peterborough we'll be out the the bottom 4 without playing!! Hurrah!

We'd be in lower mid-table comfortable and talking about next season. Not sure about that Fred. I really don't think we are good enough in the attacking department where we have basically replaced Stockton, Walker, Gordon, Lubala and Baah with Hugill and the Palace lad. Hudlin and Hackford have been discarded weeks ago. I'm not sure the manager is responsible for any of these dealings in and out which left him with an almost impossible task. We talk about formations and whether to go four of five at the back but too be honest we are not good enough to have open, free flowing games of football against anybody in this league. We'll get torn apart like we have in the last two games. I actually think that given the players available all we can do is try and keep it tight for 60-70 minutes and then have a go at the end and hope to get a goal and then hold on. One things for sure I think that Kamwa and Carayol need to play the majority of the last 4 games as they are the only ones capable of putting a ball in the box. OK, it was 4-0 today when they started to look anything like but who else do we have. That said I think the back to back away wins at Bristol and Orient gave us a false sense of how good we are and there has been massive complacency in the last 10 games. All this hunting down the teams above us nonsense looks a bit daft now.

During MP's after match interview he mentioned, I don't coach the players, I don't tell them what to do, so WTF do you show and tell them?

Chairman needs to sell the club,to someone who is interested. Sorry but the decisions from the top have made this situation! You reap what you sow and the last few seasons have been woeful,as for today what do you expect with kids up front, lack of know how,it was always going to be a hard road. I did clap the team off but those behind the scenes should be gone soon, the manager and the useless coaching staff. Give it to brayford and gilroy they can’t do any worse, than the current incompetents. Burton Albion used to be such a proud club,it’s on its knees today!

Maybe Annable, but I can't help but feel we'd have scraped a another win & a couple more draws out of the tighter games by simply having a more positive outlook on the field. To set up the way we did against Carlisle/Port Vale was criminal. Even if we'd have had another 4 or 5 points on the board at this point, the teams below us would be crapping themselves, frantically chasing points.
It's all ifs and buts now anyway. The club have been masters of their own downfall.

Says it all when some on the popside shouted well done and applauded Josh Murphy as he came over to us having been subbed. Why not, he had a great game and scored. Poor lad didn't know how to react, he appreciated though.

Great, thrilling Martin Paterson interview today! (sarcasm)
But seriously, blaming the fans for a poor home atmosphere and saying that now the players are 'scared' to play at home.
What a **** day...
