Someone mention Dylan Scott potential to be in the team. He got a red card this week playing for the youth team.....will the punishment for this carry into the first team ?

We keep saying this but this really is must win and it feels like we are moving into last chance saloon. Of course if Vale and Cheltenham keep losing then it bides us more time but with them playing teams with nothing to play for tomorrow and also their games in hand in the week then you suspect that anything other than a victory tomorrow will see us in the bottom four by the next time we play. Today, Cheltenham & Vale play away at Leyton Orient & Wigan. Not easy for either team. On Tuesday night, Cheltenham play Carlisle at home. Oh dear - and by then Carlisle may have already been relegated. Wednesday - Port Vale play at Peterborough. I can see all three of us losing, apart from Cheltenham, who'll probably beat Carlisle. After the way we've played in the last ten games, it's hard to be positive. Also, Oxford need the points to get back in the play-off spots. We'll see. You never know. Funny old game.....thought I'm not laughing much at the moment. With Sweeney back, I think it'll be five across the back, I'm afraid.

Anyone remember the game v Oxford Utd on the 17th April 2009, when we needed to win for promotion into the EFL? Plenty turned up at the Pirelli that day, setting a new ground record of 6,192 and expecting us to win. We lost 0-1, when we were hot favourites, any chance of a reversal of that today? Well we can dream.

If he starts with five at the back today he needs sacking on the spot at the very least.

I'm thinking both teams will have to play the wind today too.... Brewers 0 v Oxford 0 v Wind 3 (Could be decided by which goal the wind puts the ball in each time)

Bennett and Seddon are at the family zone today so wonโt be involved in the matchday squad

Smells like a back five. Look on FB. I think it's a back five. Well, Hamer, Sweeney, Hughes, Brayford are in the team. So is Bola - left back, I assume. Maybe it'll work today? It reminds me of Blackadder 4: "Doing what hasn't worked the previous 17 times is exactly what the enemy will NOT expect us to do."

So in a must win game we're playing defensively. Funny.
Fingers crossed Oxford don't turn up at all and we can fluke something.

We playing Brayford & Sweeney who most people are voting for player of the year, plus Hughes who is immense whenever he plays. Who are you not playing as you don't want 3 centre halves?
No Deji, Gilligan is playing.
2 up top!
What is not to like? Exclude Powell as defensive mid....๐
Kamwa and Carayol to come on later for impact of we need.
That is probably our strongest line up....

Losing 1-0. Offered absolutely nothing for the first 25.

Hoof hoof hoof, followed by our usual terrible defending.
