No chance of getting any points from this one. I’ll not be attending. I prefer to enjoy my bank holiday.

I imagine the cambridge supporters said the same before kick off yesterday.

Must be yellow shorts, the black ones are in the wash.

Must be yellow shorts, the black ones are in the wash. My shirt dried in 1 hour the other day, no reason why shorts take any longer.😁

Barnsley fans are arriving early, just seen a supporters bus heading up into town.
As for today, I know we've said it a lot, but it's win or bust. It's a huge opportunity to wrestle back some control of the league situation. If we lose, given how other teams around us are in better form, we're doomed.

I hope to see every one of them giving everything today - let’s leave nothing on the pitch at full time, having scrapped for our lives.

Huge game, as has already been said, where anything other than a win leaves us at risk of dropping into the bottom four at 5pm tonight. That's the reality of where we've left left ourselves after a dreadful few weeks where we've taken 2 points from 8 games. MP implied after the Port Vale game that some players thought that they would be OK and that other teams were going to help us out. It's called complacency. Despite the creditable result of Friday the situation we are in was laid bare with 4 teams below us winning meaning Friday, for me, felt like a loss in the immediate aftermath.
Will be interesting to see the starting eleven and for me if Sweeney is fit he comes back in for Moon after he gifted Wigan a goal on Friday which Sweeney wouldn't have done. Perhaps Kamwa in for Helm maybe and I wouldn't be surprised to see Bennett left out as the quick turnaround in games might be too much for him.
MP needs to play his part as well with the substitutions. For me, once we get to the 55-60 minute mark, the managers start to earn their keep. In my opinion MP was outdone by Maloney on Friday who admitted that he hadn't liked the first 70 minutes and thought they should of lost. Very honest but probably slightly over the top. His 5 changes ahead of our first wrestled the initiative back in their favour and whilst you couldn't disagree with our subs and who came on for who it was more the timing compared to theirs. They were pro active and we were reactive and whilst we got the point our subs did nothing but keep the status quo. Fresh legs will be needed today at that point in the match whatever the position in the game.
Anyway, I think we all have to get behind the lads today and make sure there isn't a negative atmosphere whatever's happening. There really isn't any point at this stage. Whatever the outcome of this season there will be plenty of time for an inquest once it's done.
COYB!!!

The substitutions situation annable, is that Maloney had choice and Paterson hadn’t, particularly up front. He has tried to give the kids we signed a chance and it just doesn’t work. There is just Hugill and Abebola who may have a tiny spark. God help us if we have to rely on the big man or Hackford today. Get Sweeney, Brayford or Hughes up there if we need a goal. But please not the big man.

Just seen the lineup, can't exactly tell the formation but only one striker unless Bennett is playing up there as well. No width.

Certainly a bold decision with the lineup, could also be a 4-3-3 with Bennett and Helm on the wings, but then I don’t see how Kamwa doesn’t start so it’s an interesting one. UTB

Harper defensive mid? Joe Powell a bit further forward?
Yellow shorts = home defeat?
Many questions at 3:00. Let's have some answers. Enjoy (?) the game.

Mason Bennett for Deji. A like-for-like substitution. FFS.

A strange half but MP has certainly galvanised us. He has been quite angry and forthright on occasions. Let’s hope it works.
