For the 385 days that he was here I never saw or heard anything from him that was not that of a gentleman, and this story after he has gone only exemplifies that. Well done young man!

6 games in charge at QPR and yet to get a win
A poor performance and home defeat yesterday
They won previous 2 games under Warnock
JFH under pressure already

First two posts from new thread on QPR forum:
under ramsey qpr were rubbish, under Warnock we were good and under JFH we are rubbish.
Conclusion is the players are good enough and can do it Neil proved it, ramsey and JFH are both managers who are not ready for the championship.
he will be out at the end of the season colinp Kit Man Posts: 308 Joined: Thu Oct 11, 2007 10:19 am Location: Slough Top Re: Did Warnock get JFH the sack? by singlespeed » Fri Jan 01, 2016 8:12 pm
We're in relegation form right now at least Warnock got us winning again JFH officially out of his depth I'm afraid

Not sure you are posting in the right thread here observer. I think there is an ex-manager or players thread somewhere? This one is about thanking Jimmy for all he did for us.

Just went for the last thread on JFH peacock
You are funny about what is and isn't allowed on here?
One rule for you and one for the rest?
Couple of weeks ago you posted something in an old thread completely irrelevant to Burton yourself - don't you remember?
I think this is far more relevant and worth mentioning myself
Anyway they've taken 4 points from 18 and are now closer to relegation than playoffs and their fans want Warnock back already
JFH playing without a striker and setting up not to lose from what I have read

Their fans are awful. I think they'd have a new manager after every loss of it was a possibility!

But the money is better, and Q-P-R manager looks good on a C-V for a ambitious ,young chap. Being a Head Coach seems to be the future for the modern professional,.And Q-P-R,has given Jimmy the opportunity,to develop his skills. Most big clubs, prefer to be charge of recruitment of players. And rely on the Head Coach to make it work

And he made it pretty clear that being closer to home was important. One of his mates is director of football. And it is a big challenge for him, surely that's what every young manager wants? Maybe Les will bring a player or two in? Jimmy signed 8-9 new players here last summer if they give him some rope he can build a team that plays his style.

Don't know why but been following QPR forum since Jimmy went, and be sure the natives are wrestless.
The gereral consensus is Les Ferdinand has adopted his own Rooney rule at the club, and that if Jimmy messed up completely next in line would be Chris Powell.
A ceartain element seem to be screaming for Warnock or Pearson who in there opinion would have been a safer pair of hands, but Sir Les would not entertain it.
Tough times abound for Jimmy, hope he pulls through and shows the QPR faithfull what a gem they have

I watched the game last night and was amazed to read later that Jimmy thought it was a decent performance from his team.
As a neutral watching it, they were awful. Hull weren't great but more then deserved the win. The QPR performance was sterile and lacking in all departments. The high pressing game that we saw here was non-existent. He has big problems to sort out there. When he came to Burton he inherited a side that was already good enough to win promotion and just needed tweaking to get over a sticky spell. The players were already motivated to achieve what they did.
At QPR he has a squad of overpaid prima donnas half of whom look as if they don't want to be there and who last night showed a cant be arsed attitude.
He never really had a sticky spell here at Burton do this is a big test for him now.
Jimmy and Ferdinand are not friends but both have a mutual friend in Trevor Sinclair hence the connection. Apparently in terms of players Jimmy will say what position he wants to strengthen along with a few attributes. Ferdinand and Co. will then come up with possible signings and Jimmy will pick one from their list. I thought he was more of his own man to put up with that. Only time will tell if he made the right move but he has one hell of a job on.

They are a one man team, without Austin, nothing. He could be on his way too. A big job for Jimmy to sort.
