The Albion stood up to the test and snook the win today, great goal by McGurk, not sure how Palmer missed but not too worry. El Khayati terrorised them 2nd half. Thought a yellow card was the correct decision for McLaughlin 1st half. Wycombe pressed hard but didn't really create anything apart from the late header by Pierre which was brilliantly saved by McLaughlin, his handling at all other times was also excellent. We are not up yet but it would take a real calamity to not gain promotion now. 4,284 there, well done Brewers, league one beckons !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great goal by McGurk and a thoroughly deserved man of the match. Wycombe are game players and seek to get referee decisions in their favour all game. It came back to bite them on the arse. Burton had to work hard for the win but it was deserved in the end. COYB!

Excellent performance in a real 6 pointer. Wycombe didn't offer much apart from set pieces and long balls.
Nasser had the full backs on toast and should have been MoTM even if it was just for his crossfield ball for the goal.
Things will happen very quickly now and it might be a good idea to book next Thursday off work.
I can hear the fat lady warming her vocal chords.

E7#9 has got it spot on.
Great win, professional performance all round and we never gave way to their gamesmanship.
I guess the referee read the McLaughlin handball as accidental, as he caught it in the box and his momentum took him out of the box, as opposed to a deliberate handball outside the box?
Funny to watch Ainsworth going incandescent at the fourth official though...ha ha!
All but promoted after that, probably only needing another 6 or 7 points to be assured and then it's up to the lads as to how badly they want to push for the top spot? I'm guessing they are totally up for the challenge?
See you all at Luton on Saturday...COYB!!

Oh and by the way...what a save from McLaughlin on 85 minutes...absolutely outstanding!
Pushing Moose hard for player of the season?

Well done lads , a hard fought victory today .I noticed Beav had a ice-pack on his shin at the end , hopefully not too serious , what with Nasser going off injured as well . Do we know Damo's substitution at half-time was tactical or was he injured ? I gather Lucas was missing due to illness .
