Best team won for me.

At least when we're in League 2 we might be able to win the odd game without resorting to the crimes against football we've been relying on for the last four years.

We have actually regressed since the anti football of Dino. How is this possible? When was the last time you saw an entertaining game at the Pirelli ? It’s turgid. We need a complete rethink from the pitch, to the ticketing to the team and how we play. Tonight was a massive concern. We are right in the relegation mix.

Never post when you are pi$$$ed off. Frankly, I hope we do get relegated and then again next season. The town does not deserve to have a League Football team. We clearly can’t afford the players this league needs and we have the support and ground of a national league club. Cut the losses, get back to our level and perhaps it might start being fun again.

We've been very lucky especially this season that the League has been at it's weakest for quite some time, how on earth we're still not in the relegation zone speaks volumes. We'll be in it soon enough though.
Anti-football, anti-scoring, lazy, boring, spineless. I just don't know what has happened to this club in recent times. If we go down, which is looking more and more likely, the squad and management(s) have nobody to blame but themselves.
Lets not go down with a whimper please? At least give it a go to stay up boys.

I fear for next season if we somehow, almost accidentally stay up this year, four clubs coming up who are all willing to splash the cash, whilst we regress again. (Who'd have thought four years of s**t football would result in lower attendances and a disenganged fanbase?)

Carlisle the better of 2 poor teams, well done to them, once they went in front I feared the worst. It was like a Sunday league game at times, ball in the air more than on the ground. Hard to criticise our young forwards, they had no service again. We had one good chance which fell to Deji. Fed up of seeing Joe Powell playing deep, rather see him playing behind the front 2, he might have the vision and ability to play em in? Very very poor, it's got to the point we are looking for, and relying on other teams below us dropping points too. Going to be a very nervous end to the season, on current form I'd say we are in a bit of trouble.

You'd done the hard part winning at Bristol Rovers and Orient. Then you blow it in two comparatively easy home games.

Shocking performance again ,absolutely clueless. These players he brought in on loan have added nothing,if anything we are far worse ,it not looking good for the remainder of the season. What do they do in training? These last two games we are so much slower than the opposition, they move the ball so much quicker than us.

On the way back to the car, I remembered something Martin Paterson said when he joined the club.
He said he'd been watching and knew how he wanted us to play.
And there was me thinking he was going to make some changes.
Turns out he obviously loved the way we played under Dino and has decided to carry on in the same manner.

We've seen 16 goals at home this season (league) 4 of those against Bristol Rovers, it's piss poor going. Which was worse, tonight or Saturday's game, I'm fed up of putting up with this crap.

To the less knowledgeable fan they'd probably think that Dino was still at the wheel and had grown his hair & a beard out.

Watched the game on Ifollow. Interesting that, despite the change in management, the team seems to play in much the same way as under Dino - unless this game, given I only see a few, was an aberration. Wish I had gone to the Orient game to see if the team really are capable of something more. From what others are saying though, it seems, at least at home, they're not. Ball in the air a lot of the time, aimless balls pumped forward, young inexperienced strikers left without any proper service. Best player in the side, Powell, not in his ideal position. No wonder home crowds are so small, hugely depressing if this is what the Burton football public has to watch every home game.
Rock-bottom Carlisle were made to look a decent side and were the only team to play any football. They fully deserved their win.
I had great expectations of Patterson. He really has to sort this out, and quickly, if Albion are not to be in the bottom 4 in the next few weeks. A truly abject performance.

I'm now hoping for rain.😄 Can we get an hat trick of arriving at the SSC on a Tuesday night and just staying there drinking. Looked out this morning to red sky. 'Red sky in the morning Brewers warning!' Lets hope the predicted showers this afternoon don't come to much. There was only one 'shower' this evening...

Eesh this is a pretty awful result.
I haven't watched much but thought we were very good against Charlton (2nd half). Not sure why we're so poor, the players aren't that bad.
Hopefully they find some form. I'm sure they want to.
Paterson was a risky appointment, we're not an easy "first manager" job

In football, as in life, you usually get what you pay for. Charlton won at Derby tonight as they splashed the cash in January and have brought in an experienced manager in Nathan Jones. We wanted or needed to save cash by getting experienced players off the wage bill and replaced them with kids from Premier League clubs, who probably are still paying their wages. If it had worked great, if I’d doesn’t we are staring down the barrel of League 2 football. That's what it looked like tonight.

What a shocking performance, some of the players look clueless and disinterested. It was Carlisle's first clean sheet in 28 games,it says it all.Its going to be a nervy end of season on this showing🙈
