Seem to have been quite busy in transfer window already... 6 places higher in table but only 2 points more than the Brewers...

Martin Paterson’s first game in charge, I hope the home fans give him a really warm welcome and get behind him.

May the 'new manager bounce' begin here.
And then carry on until the end of April.

Bit quiet this week on here, not much movement in the way of incomings but I guess it takes time to sort out.
Hoping it starts today, going for a win rather than a not lose attitude. I'm pretty sure that how I read the new managers intentions. Fully behind the new boss, bring it on.👍

Watching on TV today as can’t be there in person
It’s a bit wild and windy, hope that doesn’t affect the game too much
Excited to see if we’ve improved after a full week of training with the new manager
Charlton look a good side on paper, lots of new signings, they are clearly trying to get themselves out of this division this season

2-0 up and not a peep out of anyone. Are we all too excited and enjoying the footy. ( Not there so no idea what it's like)

Not there either. Going very nicely so far.
Great time to score a second goal.

Didn’t realise Charlton were on such a bad run 10 games without a win, 11 hopefully after today
We’ve managed the game well so far Only a couple of half chances for them Not particularly pretty but dodgy pitch and windy not helping

Great result
Special mention to max crocombe with some vital saves in the first half
Lovely goal by helm too, we’ve missed him

It's not right listening to Dave Fletcher commentating on the Sheep.
Up to 15th very nice, thank you. Very happy with that.

My first visit for a while, thought we played well second half and didn't give them many chances. First half was a bit of a tough watch but we got through it and somehow scored.
Hopefully the start of better things!
A little concerned Powell is going, had a very long hug with Patterson and was visibly emotional, other players were giving him hugs too... A farewell, maybe?

Yea I too saw Joe upset after hugging the boss .Not sure what to read into it to be honest. Chuffed to bits with the win. Charlton were looking the better side early on tbh, but we were resilient and gradually got on top. The players appear much happier and content . Good to see Chauke get a few minutes too. I’d almost forgotten he played here! Great touch at the end when they all approached the fans and actually seemed to mean it! I’m feeling quite confident after today .

Wonderful result, nice, steady performance. New manager bounce? Maybe, but lots of positive signs about the performances today. Powell leaving would be a blow so let’s hope not for our sake, but if he does, then we move on as we always have done. I like Mr P as the new boss. He’s got a confidence and intelligence about him - he’s measured and realistic and you can tell it’s all about “his boys - his team”. Could be some exciting times ahead - let’s hope so. Happy this evening - I may have a light ale.

I do hope Joe ain't going anywhere, he will be a hard act to follow, if he is on the way out, I sincerely hope we've got a good deal for the club, we certainly ain't got nobody in the squad to fill his boots. It will put a dampner on a great result today. No wonder the Charlton fans ain't happy, they've certainly got a decent squad, with some very good players for this level, bet their manager is in the last chance saloon?

They've lost to Burton, that's usually the final straw!

Not a popular manager Apples at Charlton or Blackpool before that. Had some success at Lincoln getting them to the Play Off Final. Needs to be given time, as they all do.

I would think he could well be out of a job before the end of the weekend.
