On Joe Powell, i noticed a fact from the internet, he made his West Ham debut in the same game as Conor Coventry (who was number 40 for them yesterday and played well)
Joe left west ham, took a risk and has now played 133 games for us and is either a key player for us, or about to move upwards, depending on whatever yesterdays after match stuff was all about
Coventry got a longer contract at west ham, so probably earned more money so far, but has bumbled around a few loans, playing 58 games in total and has just signed permanently for a league one side in freefall
Maybe suggests that Joe’s decision making around his career has been better so far

Nice to see someone warming up to Bennett. Told you he isn't bad. Alot of Burton players was up for man of the match today. Can't be bad either. If he can play a full ninety minutes with 100% commitment, as Brayford does, then I’ll admire the chap. Yes he's got a good deal of catching up to do re looking like he wants to be here. I gave him due praise yesterday probably deserved, we want more of the same with goals hopefully.

Of course we want see goals. The two lads up front did a lot of hard yards. They are not going to play for 90 minute they have done there job and more. Joe Hugill and Mason Bennett you pair was outstanding never stopped running, attacking.

I think (without checking) that Dobson left at a similar sort of time as Powell (to Walsall) and has made a decent career for himself so far, as well. One of Coventry’s loan spells was with Appleton at Lincoln who obviously wanted to work with him again. For how long, based on yesterday, remains to be seen.

Just another shout for Max, two great saves first half kept us in it. Looking at the highlights he may even have got a finger on the shot that hit the bar, great save if so, my eyes aren’t what they were though.

Some Charton fans said they were attacked. I don't believe it, knowing youth of today it was far too cold to venture out. Someone said they from Tamworth. OK Tamworth game was postponed. But can you see youths from Tamworth walking from the railway station. Why didn't they attack the Burton fans that would be more likely. Rubbish.
