Another new stadium for Burton to visit, hope it's a successful trip.
Hull are substantially better at home than they are away from home. This will, therefore, be a very difficult game and a draw really would be a good result.
Ripley or Bywater in goal?
I think we may see Sbarra getting a start (or at least 30 minutes) - their weakest point is the left back position, and he will cause problems being so pacey/direct. Andre Green caused havoc for Villa vs them last weekend.
Let's see how it goes!

Bywater according to Nigel last night - he has the jersey to lose.

Hope to see Sbara get more than several minutes even a decent stint as a sub would be good. He's a player that excites and lifts the supporters so if we end up in the same position as Saturday he needs a fair go cause that will encourage the crowd. Given we have only signed a goalkeeper and a non new defender we must use the attacking options we have plus he brings the creativity we lacked in midfield on Saturday

The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Hull City and Burton Albion this Saturday. Its a v difficult game as will midds be. I think we may have to wait for birmingham to see us get off the mark? Still confident we are stronger than last season in every area but up front and we have to bring in another experienced forward asap

Can't see anything other than the same line up as last Saturday. They're a newly assembled team under a manager new to the league. First game at home. Loads of pressure to get off the mark with a win. Fairly confident of a draw although we could sneak it...

looking at the league,in theory Bolton and Barnsley in our sites, Hull City a force at home ,but many good players have departed, and they have injury concerns.Still a hard place to go---Where isn't it. I was brave last week, staying with it.A win for the brewers .

Hull away, should be similar to Blackpool away a couple of seasons ago... The fans hate the owner etc.
We need to hold out or score first, get the fans on their backs and hopefully capitalise.

The legend has been sent off should have known better than to trip the player when already on a yellow. Park the bus 2nd half.

I think we can thank Jackson's stupidity for costing us any chance of getting anything from this.

Not wishing to create doom and gloom but we are presently bottom of the table. Early days but I think that we managed to avoid that fate all of last season.

Jackson very unfortunate for me, an innocuous 2nd foul. We were the better side at the time and could have been on to win it.
