Another big game this weekend. Similar to last time we lost away (Barnsley) we need to pick ourselves back up and go again.
Hoping the lads have banished the memory of Wembley - shouldn't be too hard as we almost have an entirely new team!
Thoughts on how this will go?

Hoping the lads have banished the memory of Wembley - shouldn't be too hard as we almost have an entirely new team! Thoughts on how this will go? Am I missing something? Didn't we last lose away at Walsall last Saturday & didn't we win at Swindon?? Fleetwood won't be easy at all, just because they are suffering a bit early season. Colchester and Crewe had bad starts and even Blackpool have picked up points, so I don't expect them to roll over, although if we play well on the day, I don't see us losing to be honest?

I was likening it to when we lost away to Swindon (1-0 penalty) and had to pick ourselves up before the away game at Blackpool.
Hopefully we do well. Interested to see if Zeli gets involved!

We lost 1-0 at Barnsley to a pen prior to playing Blackpool but I get what you are saying.

They are all big games but I think Jimmy has them focused in the now, so can't see Wembley or other losses being an interference. Fleetwood have a new manager and he will be pushing them. I think Zeli might get a look tomorrow, (he played a bit and looked good at Walsall and then played 90 mins in the Mickleover game) especially since it looks like Nasser is doubtful again. If he cannot dress he says he won't even go to the game. The 26-year-old has been training this week and the swelling on his knee is going down. Totally against the run of play. We must learn to be more accurate with our shooting.6 shots so far - none on target. Fleetwood 3 shots all on target

Did I say "totally against the run of Play" earlier. The defence seems to have had a shocker today. That and our inability to convert a reasonable proportion of the chances we create has undoubtedly cost us. Whilst the defence may be a blip the conversion rate unfortunately seems to be regularly poor.

Comments from the Mail on-line blog. Not very impressed with our defending!!
The goal was yet more atrocious defending. Sub Jamille Matt skipped between both McCrory and O'Connor, and the pair over-commit. Squared ball turned at goal by Hunter, blocked on the line by Mousinho, turned home by Hunter.
16:39 80. GOAL! FLEETWOOD TOWN 4 (Ashley Hunter) BURTON ALBION 0
16:31 GOAL RECAP What an appalling second half this has been from Burton Albion. Turgid. O'Connor is silly and dives into a tackle off the ground on Proctor, allowing Grant time on the edge of the box to curl a delicious effort past McLaughlin. O'Connor is then booked for his attempted tackle.
16:30 71. GOAL! FLEETWOOD TOWN 3 - 0 BURTON ALBION Shocking
16:18 GOAL RECAP Stunning finish from Bobby Grant but that is again, poor from Albion. Jamie Proctor is able to take the ball out of the corner and play it back to a totally unmarked Grant on the edge of the box, right of goal. He curls it with the left foot perfectly past McLaughlin, but he had no-one near him

I know I'm not there however 1-0 could be against the run of play but certainly not 4-0.
This is a disastrous result after last week's poor performance at Walsall.
More importantly we haven't scored a goal ourselves for four games now and then this week the defence goes awol?
Sorry to sound so gloomy, especially as we're still equal on points to the top two but the last two weeks have exposed some fundamental weaknesses.
I suppose at least we've got 25 points in the bag so far, so same again would put us safe!
