Agree the side just needs a slight adjustment, and I don't think this team will be to far away, dont think it's unfair to expect JFH to get a quality striker in. Given his history etc you'd hope it wouldn't be too hard! Surely Leicester, or Chelsea have someone who's never going to get a minute that could come on loan... it'd be great if we could get a striker on loan until the end of the season. Though I think it's unfair to 'criticise' Beavon. I just think he needs a good striker alongside him.

Losing 4-0 will do more good than harm IMO
Shows the players that you have to focus and play to a high level every match for 90 minutes plus in this league
I know following the Walsall match that itself was a wake up call to some of the players
Robbie Weir told a friend of mine he thought they battered us
It's maybe a tougher league then we thought we were in a couple of weeks ago so the manager and players need to close ranks and come back even stronger

Just read the club twitter feed and Jimmy's press interviews he gave this morning and was reminded of something I completely forgot about. Fleetwood should've had Sarcevic sent off for a clear elbow in Mousinho's face ten minutes before they took the lead. He definitely caught him a because his nose was bleeding after and he had to change his shirt for the remainder of the first half. He got a yellow card instead and Jimmy has rightly said this morning that "if he's giving a yellow card then it should be red".
Fleetwood would've been on the back foot and down to ten men. Fine margins...

I have to admit the second half horror show seemed to have erased that completely from my mind. Thinking with a clearer head those 10/15 minutes were absolutely pivotal in the game and you can't help but think that if it was the other way round Mousinho would've have gone because I felt that any 50/50 went the home side's way. The fact he had to change his shirt and play the rest of the half with a bloody tissue rammed up his blower tells you he caught him.
Ten men for an hour against a team that were dominating possession? All ifs and buts but as I said, fine margins...

Does the sarcevic incident preclude that if they had been down to ten men, we might have won, sounds like clutching at straws to me

I wouldn't be naive enough to think along those lines and I've seen far too much football to make an assumption like that. As I said, all ifs and buts...

Our opponents know exactly what to expect from us. We will play good attacking football, defend from high up the pitch, and try to force our way through. The opponents defend very well, allowing hardly any clear openings, and look to counter attack. Usually we have handled the counter attacks, but last Saturday, we were exposed down our left side very effectively. It worries me that it took about 43 minutes for us to force their goalie into a save, just after going a goal down. Prior to that we only had the excellent long range effort from Matty. We had almost total control but were unable to make their keeper at least work to keep them in the game. This to many of us is the main problem we have. For whatever reason we are not scoring goals, 1 goal (own goal) in 4 games is very dismal I'm afraid. When we shoot we tend to miss the target, firing all too often over the bar.
