I don't think this thread has been created.
Score predictions?
I suspect a tough game but 1-0/2-1 win to the Brewer's.

I'd take a 1-0 anytime in League 1.

The Brewers have won two out of three games in the third tier so far this season – despatching Scunthorpe United and Blackpool but suffering a narrow defeat to Barnsley. The Posh meanwhile have one win to their name this season – 2-1 at home to Colchester United – sandwiched between defeats to Rochdale on the opening day and Sheffield United. Personally I think Ant may/should be given a look. Nothing against Shane but he is showing his age, at least in that attacking formation, and especially in Blackpools goal on Tuesday. He may be fine in a fortress formation but he has had achilles and hip injuries and seems to be slowing down a bit. <ducks>

I agree Peacock, he will certainly drop one of the strikers so we have more defensive cover. I suspect 4-2-3-1 formation will be rolled out.

Whatever formation we put out, on the evidence of league 1 so far we have nothing to fear, we are full of confidence and barring any disasters I think we will take the 3 points at the Pirelli tomorrow. 2-0 for me !

Desmond for me, with the Posh scorers Bostwick and Maddison. Visiting fans to outdrink the locals, of this I'm sure.

I used to date a lass who drank lagertop ! Try a pint of mixed, half Pedi, half barley wine, that should sort you out ! Enjoy the game lagertops although obviously not from the result perspective.

Our danger man is Maddison. He'll either fall over a lot, or smash in a wonder free-kick from a ridiculous distance.
One of our wags described him thus; "Started the season like a dog on heat, now as much use as a one-legged cat trying to bury a turd on a frozen lake".

McLaughlin for me today, Matthews against Boro I reckon.
Half a shandy for me today or horrible Pepsi stuff, I'm driving.

Both goalkeepers are struggling with their distribution. This is partly due to us generally trying to feed Akins standing out on the wing, from goal kicks. A small error and the ball is straight out of play.

I though Remi has been doing well rolling the ball out to the sides, either fb's or wingers John wasn't really tested at Blackpool and apparently there were a lot of hoofs to the two strikers, but it was a different formation. Personally I don't have a problem with either of them, or Deano for that matter but he needs to get some games in.
