I tried to put a picture on of the new shirt but still not sussed out how to do it...But its just a replica of the first albion shirt to hipe up the 65th year of the brewers..Shame the club puts sky before the fans..that was not around at the beggining... Er, no it isn't...

I'm a bit disappointed. My grandson will like it though, I'm sure.

I'm not keen, it is not really stripes as it is not striped on the back. Mind, as I didn't like the away strip it is not a surprise that I am not keen. Would have preferred an all black with yellow trim.
It may grow on me or look better up close...

I quite like it (although we should perhaps change our name to Burton Bees ). I will be proud to watch the boys wining in L1 wearing this or any other kit!

Actually looks a lot smarter on the website. I also don't care too much about the strip design, as long as it is black and yellow (or Amber). I can't see myself in one though, even if they do sell them in ultra xxxxxl sizes.

My first reaction is that I really like it. Pity we are not given a rear view of the shirt, especially if it isn't striped.

Is the rear all black or all yellow?

+1 on the above too. But I don't see them for sale in the shop.
On the new kit, I like it but as a leisure wear item I tend to stick to something more sedate so that one not for me.
Been said before and my opinion, why wait until 3-4 days before KO for the new shirt unveiling. Who rushed down and bought one yesterday or going before Sat to buy. I asked two weeks ago and just got a shrug of the shoulders and a glum look, who knows I may have purchased had they had them in there and then. I think they have missed a few preseason sales here to boost the coffer's. I do like the design though, but not something I choose to wear.

The delay in the unveiling has been previously explained at the Fan Engagement Workshop. Due to the main sponsor not being agreed and signed off until mid-July that then pushed back the printing of the sponsor logo onto the new shirts. (A new sponsor is not going to be happy with shirts being released and sold without their name on them). As this job is undertaken abroad (as it is whether you use Nike, Adidas or any of the other manufacturers) it takes a while but our strong relationship with TAG enabled them to push to ensure that we had the shirts and kit available for the start of the season.
I was down at the ground last night for a meeting and the trade in new shirts was very brisk apparently. There was a junior Brewers event on as well and I was reliably informed that about half of the children attending were already kitted out in their new shirts.
Interestingly I heard on the news yesterday that AFC Bournemouth, now of the Premier League, also announced their new main sponsor and new kit around the same time as we did in July however they are not going to have any shirts, or indeed team kit from their supplier (JD Sports) until about two weeks into the new season. The players are currently wearing samples of the new shirts etc and have been asked not to swap shirts at the end of games!

I like the new home kit. Also like to polo shirt worn by the staff - very sharp.

I think they have missed a few preseason sales here to boost the coffer's. I do like the design though, but not something I choose to wear. To be honest I think that if someone is intent on buying the shirt then they're going to buy one regardless of when it comes out. Obviously one or two people such as yourself may not and that's totally understandable. I was a little disappointed that we didn't have it for pre season but it's really not a deal breaker for me. At the end of the day it's a football shirt...nothing more, nothing less. For the record I got mine yesterday and I really like it. Slightly strange that it's a bit bigger than the exact same size I bought the away shirt in a year ago (XL) but a good quality shirt (thought the silver away one was a bit dodgy quality wise) and looks better in the flesh, so to speak. (If Ben Robinson is reading, any sales gained as a result of my excellent review are subject to a small commission fee)
