It is an interesting anniversary. But any number is just a number, there's no magical significance to it being divisible by 5. I'd have wanted a special shirt for 42, as that is the most important number in the universe. As for the kit, if it is the original half and half shirt then I may buy one, assuming they do very large person sizes. I think a half and half shirt would be great. I wonder where kingbrewer has seen it? This could be really good. I can see the launch now - the original players of 1950 rolled out wearing the 'new' kit as in Barnstoneworth United of Ripping Yarns fame.

Because JCB are a big company... Burton Albion dont really fit their profile... As much as youd like to think otherwise

As much as youd like to think otherwise I hope you don't get banned from here because it's going to be good fun watching our tinpot club move away from your tinpot club You genuinely came into this thread to discuss shirt sponsors when you are sponsored by Mick George Limited? I am guessing he is the farmer whose field we all had to walk through to get to your away end?

But JCB sponsor Rocester do they not? No mate. JCB don't put any money into Rocester in the same way the Breweries have never really backed Burton Albion.

Not wishing to step on your toes Norah but I think you may have meant to post this link. That one goes to the unfortunate Maynard injury. New Kit RevealFor what it's worth I'd put my mortgage on the design being just a yellow and black version of the away shirt.

I'd put my mortgage on it being mainly yellow.

I'd put my mortgage on it being mainly yellow. Someone said that on twitter and the response from the club was "you'd be surprised..."

I'd be VERY surprised if it's not of a yellowish hue.

Oh ar, it'll definitely be of a yellow persuasion. From the teasers the club have put out so far thought I'm expecting mainly black. I've been known to be wrong once or twice though.

Black would be quite nice, I might get away with black!

From the discreet teases it would appear to be mainly black with a yellow collar but that could just be to put us off!!

Black kit would be great
But would that upset old timers?

Black suits my figure. You can't hide a gut so well when you're walking around with a bright yellow shirt on.
