boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=323&fid=14&sty=2&act=1&mid=2110078702Was warned this by a Leeds fan today. Owner going all out for JFH to replace Redfearn apparently who goes out of contract with Leeds in the summer. If worst case scenario did happen and he went then Redfearn would actually be a good replacement Not going to worry about it but with it making the papers I thought I would pass it on at least

Although Leeds could well be a destination for Jimmy in the future I think Leeds chances at the moment are remote. Choose your chairman carefully ---- Cellino v Robinson -------- no contest ! When Cellino has gone maybe, Jimmy knows he has to do his time at Burton first, a move there now could be potentially disastrous for his career.

Wasn't the Birmingham chairman actually already in jail when Rowett went there?

I don't see the Chairman of Leeds as much of a threat to be taking our manager just yet. I don't see JFH jumping into a club, (as much as it holds for him), that is a complete shamble. You are far too pessimistic on this issue Observer. The fact is that the Chairman at Leeds appears to most to be the problem.

I'm not pessimistic. We are in League One regardless.
Just passing on something that's in the media now.
I think there will be huge reasons for JFH to want to stay with us but no matter how great our club and chairman is there will also be a big pull from Leeds.
Same applied with Rowett. They were a club in dire straits as well. So we shouldn't rule anything in or out.
I hope JFH stays with us a couple of years more of course.
Loved the sky documentary last night other than its put him even more on the radar!
We are a great club for our size that's for sure

Jimmy seems to be an honourable, and a very smart, man. I think he will stay with us for another year at least (honourable), and by doing that he will gain valuable L1 experience (smart).
Someone posted this same story from The Sun a few days ago (penny dropped now funky), but it's simply Murdocks boys trying to steal more of your money. Media!

Still not a clue why it was aimed at me, you seem to be the one with a problem with Murdoch. I can't stand Murdoch either, but I like my cricket too much.

I agree wholeheartedly Claymillman and last night's documentary only served to cement that thought. I believe Jimmy chose his first club and chairman very carefully and I think he has ambitions, not only for himself but also Ben and BAFC. He'll be with us next season for sure.

Leeds fans seem happy with Redfearn at the moment anyway looking at their reaction to the story

Redfern's a good man and deserves a chance to see it through.

Redfern's a good man and deserves a chance to see it through. Some fallout has gone on behind the scenes by looks of it

He'd want his head looking at if he went to Leeds. In last night's documentary he took great pride in saying that this was now his club and he was doing things the way he wanted them. At Leeds it seems that Cellino calls all the shots from afar and Redfearn is just the head coach, nothing more, nothing less. He's given the players and players get taken away from him with him having no say in the matter. They've also got other numerous problems behind the scenes.
If a stable Championship club came sniffing, however...

Forest fans are eyeing him up for one of the inevitable two managerial vacancies they will have next season
I guess Derby is too soon for him when Mclaren goes to Newcastle
Brentford would be a nice little job
I agree with everyone else that at least one full season in League One will help him
Another promotion next season and he would be in huge demand

Having watched the programme about JFH he certainly doesn't fear League 1 and sounds pretty confident he can take us to the next step up.
Now that really would be incredible.

I would suggest that if JFH wants to go to Leeds then they're welcome to him, as he's clearly a mentalist.
Thankfully, I don't think he is, and he'll stay.
Why would ANYONE go to Leeds, particularly if they've got their pick (almost) of clubs to go to...?!
