Well, there could be nothing in it I suppose. But, if we're being honest when he goes it won't matter a tiny bit if we 'accept' his decision or not!

Chelsea ?? I think it may be a year to soon, but it looks like there will be a new manager there soon and Jimmy will surely be linked ? I want him to stay here as long as possible as we all do, but with our shocking attendances with the people of Burton and districts not getting behind the club how much further can he possibly take us.

I could certainly see him going there as an assistant with a view to taking over a couple of years later. Assisting someone like Ancelotti or Hiddink?

Well if he ended up at Chelsea in any capacity then that's a nice extra pre-season friendly to add to the list
Some good jobs knocking about now.
Sunderland, Liverpool and going to be domino effect I reckon.
It's hard to think he won't get a decent offer at some stage.
Bit like when Rowett turned down Blackpool but then took Birmingham City
He clearly loves Burton environment but at end of day there will be jobs that would give him ten times his current wage on 3 year contracts that he gets offered at some stage
A 3 year contract with a big club and he could earn 30 times what we could pay him in one season
There will only be so much he can say no to

Everybody knows he will go,probably very soon if he gets a very tempting offer, not worth worrying about Nigel's waiting in the wings ready to come back.

Interesting point about Nigel
He would be a safe pair of hands and a more long term appointment I think
JFH 50/1 for the Sunderland job

Anyone who knows how the system works at Sunderland knows that Jimmy would never go there.

They just sacked Rosler but have appointed Steve Evans so that's another few months at least where they won't be approaching JFH!

I wouldn't bank on it, with the way that club is run they could be looking for another manager in a matter of week. Any manager would be stupid to take that job.
