It's the normal words of any manager linked with any job I would say.
It's interesting to see he has two years left on a contract which is good seeing he will be on many clubs lists now of potential managers.
I don't think our budget will increase much in League One tbh.
He clearly enjoys it at Burton and feels comfortable here. So I do hope he has at least one more successful season with us as part of his learning curve.

Precisely, no manager ever categorically rules out leaving any club, they always and rightly leave the door slightly ajar. Rowett was a classic example, turned down Blackpool, said he was Albion manager with a job to do etc, but was very careful not to rule himself out of any better offer. No issues with the JFH story to Leeds, I remember Nigel Clough being linked to the Grimsby job 4 times, Chesterfield 3 times, Sheffield United 3 times, etc etc etc. It happens, it will always happen and someday he will move on. Right now I think he would work out that so far he has done well, but he has not embedded a reputation yet, that will take a further period of success or consolidation and where better to develop that reputation and have his choice of the best jobs than at BAFC.

Jimmy seems to be an honourable, and a very smart, man. I think he will stay with us for another year at least (honourable), and by doing that he will gain valuable L1 experience (smart). He will leave when the time is right for him, I don't think that is soon. But the 2.5 year contract he signed isn't an obstacle or a security at all if the reports are correct that he is on a £40K a year rolling contract. If we sacked him it would cost us £40K, if he went to another team they would have to pay us £40K, it's pocket change for the Club he will eventually go to.

Why would anyone work for thus guy? (Cellino) Leeds United have held talks with former Brentford and Wigan Athletic boss Uwe Rosler. Current head coach Neil Redfearn is out of contract this summer and seems set to leave after chairman Massimo Cellino called him "a baby" and "weak". www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32804076

Cellino is an interesting one
He's actually a very effective albeit unpopular owner in that he doesn't pander to the fans and does what ever it takes to make his club successful
He managed to keep minnows Cagliari in serie A for 17 years
He has a reputation for buying players cheap and selling high
He is over here for one reason and one reason only and that's to get Leeds into EPL and then sell on for a profit
He may well achieve that (may take him a few managers to get there)
Leeds fans won't be complaining if he does get them there and sells on
He has already slashed the costs at Leeds and got them under FFP and out of transfer embargo
A very demanding owner to work for (known as "the manager eater" in Italy)
But he's capable of turning Leeds around. He is well suited to working under FFP as he's worked to extremely tight budgets for decades in Italy

That doesn't mean I think JFH should want to go and work for him but im just pointing out he is very effective at getting the best from a club results and finance wise over time
Eccentric but not the total clown that many are assuming

Rosler lined up to takeover at Leeds
Let's hope he does well as the clamour for JFH to go there will only increase the more experienced he gets

With Uwe Rosler taking over at Leeds and Middlesbrough and Chelsea unlikely to be looking for a new manager any time soon that's 3 of Jimmy's ex-clubs sorted. Charlton Athletic seem OK for now too. I hope Rosler is a resounding success at Leeds United ! Less for us to worry about any way !

ROBBIE Weir says the Burton Albion players would be "gutted" if manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink leaves the Pirelli Stadium. The Brewers boss had been linked with former club Leeds United until Uwe Rosler was appointed head coach yesterday. Weir, 26, who has been one of the stars of Albion's promotion from League Two, says the dressing room accepts Hasselbaink will one day move on – but would be disappointed to see him go. Read more: www.burtonmail.co.uk/Robbie-Weir-says-Burton-Albion-players/story-26542306-detail/story.html#ixzz3alLJYGxrFollow us: @burtonmailnews on Twitter | BurtonNews on Facebook I'm glad Rosler was hired but I can't help thinking that if Leeds have a bad first half and we have a good first half Cellini will chew up and spit out another manager. no point worrying about it though, it will happen when it happens.

I don't think there is much danger Jimmy will go to Leeds while Cellino is there, he's far too astute for that. "pick your chairman carefully" is a quote from Jimmy as to why he signed on at the Pirelli stadium. Cellino is hardly in the same mould as Ben even if Leeds United are a massive club, the potential is there to ruin Jimmy's career as a manager almost before it has started.

I predict Cellino will have Leeds in Premier League within 3 years
How many managers it takes him to get there your guess is as good as mine
He's just employed a good and experienced CEO who may calm him down a bit
Adam Pearson
By the way the reason he has given for replacing Redfearn is that he found out he had applied for the Barnsley job whilst managing for him at Leeds
Of course must be a reason why redfearn preferred barnsley job to leeds one but it's a fair enough reason to bring someone else in IMO
He did only ever make Redfearn temporary manager til end of season as well with deal in place for him to return to his job as academy director
So this isn't an actual sacking so to speak

I actually think Derby is a great job for an up and coming manager
Not that I think JFH will take it
They are bookies favourites for promotion to Premier next year

I heard from a good source today that it was indeed Leeds who Jimmy said thanks but no thanks to, with respect.

Mmm, how good is the source Peacock? Lets be honest, leeds would be one of the few clubs us brewers fans could probably accept him to leave us for, with his history their etc. must be cellini then!!!
