Also another thing - I heard Martin say that he will always face the fans win, lose or draw yet he didn’t have the balls to step any further than the halfway line after all of us fans come out on a midweek game, did everything to get behind the team and he couldn’t come over and show any appreciation.
Absolute pretender of the highest level - it’s not all his fault and I’ll get onto the players another time but he’s made himself out to be the next coming of Pep Guardiola in his job interview and media interviews, obviously made a massive impression on Ben but he really showed who he really is today

Absolutely lost for words after that. I really am.
We made Cheltenham look like prime Barcelona and we actually rarely caused them a problem bar the goal which was out of the blue. Didn't last long and for this so called defensively strong team to concede two headed goals was poor in the extreme. Not great goal keeping either.
Then in one of the biggest games for years we just could not find it in ourselves to have an attempt of note to get back into it and neither did we deserve to.
Tonight's performance was a culmination of 4 years of playing survival, ugly, anti football and we have a squad who quite literally do not know how to string two passes together. That's down to a lack of half decent coaching by anybody appointed by Ben in the last few years and as somebody has already said, you reap what you sow. I actually thinking our players headed it more tonight than touched it with their feet.
To be honest I have lost interest in whether we stay up or go down. Strangely, it's more a worry if we stay up and we are a million miles off having a squad which can compete at this level anymore and have sub standard coaching. A woeful night, fully deserved defeat and lots for the owner to ponder on.

Look at the bottom four. Look at our record at home against them. One point out of 12. Nice work, Dino. Shit. Utter shit.

To be honest ,I hope we go down ,another season of watching this trash in League one is so depressing.League two we will hopefully be a bit better with teams more to our level. When you look at the sort of teams coming into league one next season ,it's frightening.

And we were made to suffer an extra 19 mins of that crap.

I often think the same superbrewer, but lets be realistic, the way we're going and performing in all on field matters, it will take monumental change over the summer to stop another season of misery even at a lower level. It's hard to imagine this group as it is now being in anything other than a struggle in League 2 if we were down there right now.

If anyone cares, why have the club now changed the date for buying an early bird season ticket? Should end April 19 now they told a supporter ( who stands behind us) you can't renew now until May, after the season ends, strange.🤔

A match that should have been played on FA Cup 2nd round day.
We eventually play on a run of 7 home defeats on the bounce and make it 8.
Oh bother.

Just got back from the game - still in total disbelief at the non performance I have just witnessed. The fans were up for this game unfortunately the players were not!! Such an important game but are response was woeful to say the least. Ball was hoofed in the air for the majority of the game!! They scored the equaliser - no response!! They scored a second - even less response!! We were absolutely clueless tonight - anti-football on display yet again! The squad simply isn’t good enough - January transfer window a disaster - the incomings have added nothing to the team - especially up front and finally the manager is clearly out of his depth! Ben shouldn’t escape criticism either!! No doubt in my mind now that we are going down! I don’t hold the view that that’s a good thing as it’s been an unbelievable journey to get to this level and beyond in the first place and to see it potentially end like this is hard to take. Renewed my 2 season tickets so no matter what will be there next season! However if I have to witness another season of anti-football that’s me done! I want to see the ball on the floor - more than two passes being made - the ball going forwards not backwards - shots on goal - goalmouth action and of course winning games at home! If that happens we might get some atmosphere back at the stadium and some more people coming to watch!!

It's pretty obvious that Paterson cannot under any circumstances be taking the reigns next season, he's getting paid either way so let's just get one of the coaches in charge for these last two games. Hell if needs be just go managerless and put a cardboard cut out on the sidelines.
Yes it's clutching at straws, and yes we're still shit, but if it gives us 1% extra it's worth it.
The players also should hang their heads in shame too. They've not really bar a select few broken much of a sweat this season, if half arsed could be explained in a photo it would be our squad picture.

Another disastrous home defeat and performance.God knows where we keep getting these substandard managers from,he's clueless.Five at the back, hoof it up at every opportunity,it's pathetic.Fair play to Daryl Clarke, his team walked all over us, after his half time team talk.He must have said, come on lads, these are shite and he was right.I bet vale regret sacking him now.I'm expecting a hammering on saturday against Reading, unless the manager resigns before that🤔

As soon as I saw the line up I knew how it might pan out. We start with basically 4 CB's (Moon included who is useless as a wing back, 5 if you include Deji) against a poor side, at home. Cheltenham were there for the taking but we gift them goals and suddenly they are full of confidence playing like Brazil (ditto vs Carlisle, Port Vale). Not just singling out Deji but he just stood there for both goals. Crocombe's distribution was awful and the ball was rarely on the floor. Why do the Centre Backs just hoof it fowards to no one. At least Steve Seddon gave it a go when he came on. What is the manager saying at half time? Also he made a huge error bringing on Kamwa and Carayol 5 mins apart and basically using all our subs up with a big chunk of the 2nd half still to go (nearly lost Seddon at one point). It doesn't really matter what we say as MP will just set us up to lose in the last 2 matches. The only way we are staying up is if the other teams lose. The only crumb of comfort is Cheltenham have a tough last 3 games.
