We have got to try and play some positive football today. Cheltenham will be feeling low and are there for the taking. I think that's the problem, Rhys, we don't really have the players to play positive football at least very effectively. We haven't had more possession than the opposition since the Carlisle home game and even that was 51:49 in our favour. Saturday was a great win coupled with bad defeats for our rivals and you are right that they are there for the taking which would take us very close to safety especially if Vale don't win. It's great that there seems to be plans by fans to make tonight a real good atmosphere and where we are planning to get behind the team for 90 minutes and roar them over the line but i'm still unsure whether we are capable of that. I expect that MP will set us up as he has done recently with 5 at the back rather than change anything radically. This is a must win game for them and how they approach this may dictate how we are able to play and this is one where the managers will really earn their money with how the teams are set up tactically. In an ideal world we go 442 or 433 and bang a few goals in early on and cruise through the match. That is unlikely to happen and I can see a real cagey 1-0 either way or maybe a 0-0 or 1-1. If Vale lose then a draw is actually a good result for us as unpopular a view as that maybe at this stage. I think that all we can do as fans is get behind the team and hope for the best and that the players are up for it and MP can come up with a plan for us to get a positive result. Free flowing attacking football and us winning 4 or 5 nil is just not going to happen. Feeling very nervous and hence the above waffle but really hope we can do it.

I think you’re right annable, we can’t set up to play positively as we don’t know have the mix of attacking players to do it. I just hope we can get Bennett fit and set up as we did at Stevenage with Helm and Powell pushing up to support him. If not I guess it will be Hugill with Kamwa and Carayol coming on around the 60 minute mark. I would however very much doubt that Bennett will make it.

I think we’d all take a horrible game tonight, 5 or 6 at the back, hoof ball and a lucky deflection off their centre half’s backside from our one shot of the game which goes in and wins it for us

I certainly hope we get a result, obviously in these types of high pressure home games we have a habit of choking, but now's time to change that.
Would certainly prefer us to go into the game positively but as long as we get a win in a game of this importance I couldn't care if we finish the game with 10 at the back.

They're watering the pitch heavily from a few videos I've seen too.
No clue why with the showers we've had around and what is still possibly on the way.

To our fans behind the goal who chanted " he's gonna cry in a minute" to their player who walked round the pitch with a bust wrist....
Grow up you Pr:cks! You're a f***ing embarrassment to our club!

Hamer off injured. Down to the bare bones defensively. No long throws then. Never score from them anyway, lol.

He smiled up at them. Very relieved NOT to hear "How sh*t must you be, we scored a goal." Perhaps they're learning the art of 'support'? Keep going Brewers. You need to keep calm cos this could get a bit nadgy.

IF it stays as things are with current results, you'd have to say in theory we'll be ok, but I'm sure the next 45 minutes could well have some twists & turns.

Two poor teams, but we're one up. Just want the win, it can be as turgid as they want this second half if we keep a clean sheet.

Vale drawing, not good.
Now we're 1-1. FFS.
