No Oshilaja luckily but still a very defensive five at the back lineup.
A point would be OK today as much as we need three.

I would be delighted with a point today, especially if it comes with a battling performance and more than a handful of genuine goal opportunities. That would demonstrate progress in the right direction. Of course, it is very likely that Wigan are a much, much better team and group of individual players than Burton, so a struggle to maintain a clean sheet may be all we can realistically hope for.

Well, we've been asking for changes and here they are.
Let's have a crack at Wigan and their massive stadium.
Gilligan & Moon - its a start.
Come on lads.

Good start from the Brewers - look like they have a bit more intent. Mason Bennett has had a couple of chances and is finding space alongside Hugill. No Deji which is already a positive. Encouraging so far.

Awful from Moon, don’t know what he thought he was doing there. Just smacking it out for a corner would have been a better decision.

Only out of the relegation zone on goal difference as it stands. Just can't seem to get hold of the ball, never mind score. The season only looks to be going one way, sadly.

We are in absolute dire straits now.
Barely out of the relegation zone, Port Vale with a game in hand (we've kickstarted their season), Cheltenham have two games in hand. We're done for.
Can't complain though, if we do go down it's thoroughly deserved. Some of the performances wouldn't look out of place in a hungover Sunday league side.

I don’t think Burton have played badly at all; Wigan are a kick it to each other in their own half team which can skew our view (and stats) regarding possession. They look pretty evenly matched but I predict they will now wait for us to commit and punish us on the break in the second half. Wigan have had more clear opportunities to score to be fair.

We seem to concede a very large number of goals either just before half time or in the last ten minutes of games.
