I'd agree with Jimmy, we were sloppy 1st 20 minutes but after we equalised we did ok without being fluent, clinical finishing the difference this week though. Excellent finishes by Nasser and Akins. The U's looked good going forward but absolutely shocking at the back. Very happy with the 3 points and our league position. Tom Naylor was my man of the match too.

I've just accidentally "liked" my own post above Lol Didn't realise you could do that and I am not a narcissist I promise! Just an FYI, if you like something by mistake you can remove that by liking it again, if that makes sense.

Yeah, Phil texted me that 3 of their back 4 were poor. But sometimes they play well and get nowt, if we were a bit sloppy but scored 5 then it evens things up.

It was an odd game all round today, the ref tried to keep the game flowing and some proper tackling was allowed ! How refreshing, Weir and Naylor really got stuck in. They had more of the ball but once Nasser had equalised any time we produced a bit of quality in their box we scored. Shame you missed today Herb.

Maybe I'm the bad luck charm and should burn my season ticket! No chance!

To echo terraceman, I thought the referee had a very good game and the really good thing for him is that he can go into school on Monday and tell his teacher and all his fellow pupils all about it

Great result again brewers, nice to see us bang some goals in. Great stop by flanagan near the end. Must say we thought it was quite evident how it seemed to be david oldfield doing most of the talking etc along the touchline today. Maybe preparing for a new role

I noticed how much better balanced we looked when Damian Mcrory came on for the second half, he might not be spectacular but throughout his time with us he has been ultra consistent.

We were pretty awful for 20 or so minutes. We totally underestimated their work rate and attacking qualities. Mouseinho had a real rant at them, and it was only when we started to press them up the pitch, and pass the ball with a bit more care, that we started to succeed. It was clear that they are a very good attacking team, but their defending was very poor. Nasser's free kick goal was very poorly defended by a terrible wall. Nasser could put an almost straight shot to the side of the wall, and score 2 feet inside the post. Still a well struck free kick though. It was obvious how pleased we all were to see Timmy get his first league goal for us, it provided a very pleasurable moment, and he more than deserved it.

Just watched us on the football league highlights show. It was 80% about how bad Colchester are and Chris Iwelumo mispronounced all our players names. Brilliant.
Muppets.

We didn't play well in the first twenty minutes but when we got organised we were very impressive. Great one touch passing and given the conditions today I see us making progress. Ok the opposition defence was shite but they were good at everything else . We did well to stop them scoring. Well done today lads, long may the goals keep coming. Can't wait for Tuesday .

Who are Lucas Atkins and Stuart BEEvan? Maybe it's a blessing that Joachim didn't play today. The bloke would've been covering poor Kelly in phlegm.

Too amateur and unprofessional. It's disrespectful too because as mentioned, they don't know how to pronounce who they are wittering on about . Dreadful.

Cold, wet and windy playing conditions, cold and soaked after the game sounds crap but I must say I really enjoyed it, people have been saying for a while that we would give someone a battering and yesterday without playing tremendously well we did it, I had a feeling Timmy would get his goal yesterday and the fact that he did was the icing on the cake, the Ref was good today although Cufc fans only chant was, "you don't know what your doing" ? Five different goal scorers and some very good finishing (including there goal), well done lads and keep the goals coming, Millwall will be a tougher game but if we can carry the confidence onto Tuesday night we are more than capable of getting a result.
