I don't think he'd take the Birmingham job. The two London clubs tick a lot of boxes for Jimmy and despite the phenomenal job Rowett has done in transforming them on the pitch you still get the feeling all isn't quite right behind the scenes at Blues. The way things are going I wouldn't be surprised if Jimmy ended up at QPR, Rowett w ent to Fulham and Chris Powell landed the Blues job. Managerial merrygoround at it's finest ? Yep Rowett odds on for Fulham job 10/11 Whereas JFH 25/1 for that job Thought Nigel Pearson might be in running for those jobs but he's supposed to be lined up for Reading which seems a bit of a low level job for him to take? It's certainly a merry go round and one that I would like to not involve us

Cancel that Clarke wants to stay at Reading now rather than jump ship to Fulham so Pearson will need to go somewhere else!

Leaving us in the sh!* again! Oh well...that's how it goes I suppose and probably the realistic answer? Whatever JFH chooses it's been a great ride...just rather not see it cut so short. I think it's just modern football for you. Around only a quarter of the 92 managers of Premier League/Football League managers have been in their posts for more than 2 years. Approx. half of them haven't even seen a year out yet!

Why would Rowett want a London club, doesn't make sense when he's settled in at Brum and has lived in Duffield for a while now. Same as Cloughie, he won't travel far, a neighbour of Gaz.

Pretty much obvious hes going. The reporter asked jimmy if he will assure fans that he will be with us until the end of the season. Jimmy taps him on the back and walks off!! 100% he is going after that. Thats confirmed it for me

Exactly, he will never speculate on what 'could' be. When asked about 'possibly' being promoted, or winning the league, or ......? He has always said something like ... I cannot control that, I can only focus on the next game. A pat on the back and walking away to me is like saying shut the fek up.

To be honest, there's nothing Jimmy has said, or hasn't said, in that interview that he has or hasn't been saying to myself and Joe from BBC Radio Derby for the last fortnight or so when these links really started. Of course, he hasn't quite walked out on us in an interview! But again, there's nothing new, particularly, to read into that.

^^^^ Thanks for your comments, yes nothing new, and still not a no though. But again as said, nothing to say no to really.
I hope my gut feelings are correct, in that he will stay no matter what the temptations from other clubs are.

That's not actually correct Peacock If you refer back to when JFH was linked with Leeds he deliberately cooled all that speculation down by reminding everyone he was on a two year contract and had a job to do then for us and next season. He certainly talked about his plans for the following season let alone the next match Here is the link m.burtonmail.co.uk/Burton-Albion-boss-Jimmy-Floyd-Hasselbaink-cools/story-26411534-detail/story.htmlWith QPR job he has done the opposite and said nothing at all to cool the speculation There is a clear difference in JFH's approach to this speculation and previous speculation

You start a conversation you can't even finish it. You're talking a lot, but you're not saying anything. When I have nothing to say, my lips are sealed. Say something once, why say it again?

So let's hope the QPR job link is a road to nowhere.

It's been a while. I expect a good crowd.
I'll try to make the Millwall game. That'll be tough!

Uh-Oh.....!!! Colchester have sacked their manager, Tony Humes According to their forum he said.... "So, Humes has come out and blamed the fans for the defeat claiming we wanted the players to fail."
Reading their forum some are wishing the team to fail, so Humes get's the sack. There wish has come true, sad really.
