Posting drivel is all a forum is for I can talk drivel, I can also be misunderstood. It's when the others talk drivel I can't understand. I'm off to find a new avatar.

Another one on the Burton job shortlist (not) Steve Clarke sacked by Reading, now that's a surprise.

Probably wiped it so that the auditor's would sign the accounts and say they'd carry on as a business and avoid administration! According to the press information I read. The directors wiped off £60m of the debt by a mixture of write off and presumably increasing equity. This reduced the debt to £195m. It had stood at over £250m. They are now saying that they have wiped off all but £10m of the debt since then. Either way there are some eye watering amounts of money to first lose and then find to make good.

Best of luck to Jimmy (and David if he goes) and i wish them all the success in the world at QPR. I agree with comments that Holloway made last night saying he should of seen this season out with us and then had the pick of the Championship clubs but it looks to be done now so we have to move on and look forward to someone else taking charge.
With regards to odds, BetVictor at 12/1 when they posted it last night and a lot of people have backed that as it is now at 4/6.

Its a bit poor that the club havn't issued a statement yet, I know it has to be worded correctly but its 10-45am on Friday and we all know Jimmy has left the club but nothing official.

To be fair Terraceman there is nothing on the QPR site announcing his arrival yet either.
How it normally works these days is that both clubs will have pre-agreed a time to announce the story from both ends. Problem is social media etc tends to make a mockery of it half the time as it ends up being the worst kept secret. As has been proved today!

If there was a pre agreed time then you'd have thought the best course of action would've been make the announcement before there's even the remotest of chances that Jimmy could be photographed decked out in his personalised QPR kit. Either way for my money, and as always this is only my opinion, I think the recurring theme here is "could've been handled better and a bit more respectfully".

That picture of Jimmy at the training ground...
My OH has just said "he's probably seeing if they can kick a ball first before he takes the job"
Looks like he beat the dummy wall anyway.

My guess is that QPR have taken the lead on this one and have taken the decision at what time they are going to announce Jimmy to the world. They will then have asked that we respect that and announce him departing at the same time.
As, I say, with social media and things like The Sun snapping him already taking training, (If Warnock hadnt mentioned it last night would The Sun have even had a photographer at the training ground?) it makes some of these embargoes a little nonsensical.
Same as when Gary went to Birmingham. We all knew it was happening but we were beholding to when Birmingham wanted to announce their 'good news'.

I would like to make a comment! The comment is, I am not going to comment anymore until there is something to comment on . Now I am going to comment. We are top of the league, we need a new manager, the quality of the applicants should be the best ever. Ben has a tough job to do, fortunately he is more than qualified to do it and get it right, (AGAIN).
