Their is a problem, most of us recognise our attendances and support base does not allow for the standard we are now playing at,and growth, looking at promotion which is the next step up ,We have to compete in the league we are in, And gates of 3000 means we struggle to compete, and lose quality players and staff the management want to keep.to clubs that are competing with us, it is not funny . MK Dons away see how many fans we take, Coventry a club in name only take between 7 to 8 thousand, Tickets for Leicester are on sale , im sure if the home end is available, provisions are in place to stand where you prefer , Buy a ticket and you will see the match, not rocket science, Bournemouth-Leicester playing in front of 3000 is a joke. League 1 playing in front of 3000 still a joke. Playing in front of a packed away end, getting a 4-500 gate is still a joke. We should pay up =or shut up. This club deserves fans who like the staff want to move forward, Luton Town moving to a new ground, stating, moving to a new ground necessary to increase revenue for the club to remain competitive. Whats Ben Robinson done begged for just a couple of thousand extra fans,to maintain our status in the football league. When supporting Derby i had season tickets in the Osmaston end= Normanton end= Popside= Macdonald end= Bombardier stand, and do you know i enjoyed were ever i was in the ground,

I agree we do lose quality players non more than young Jamie Allan this season but as long as Clough ie is here we'll be fine with his rebuilding season after season.

As long as Cloughie stays and continues to work his miracles. Pulling rabbits from hats every season and often getting a right slagging for devoting a virtual life time to Burton Albion.

I'll say again, how does the club gauge interest in how many fans want to buy tickets in the Don Amott stand if they aren't on sale yet?
Ben Robinson says we would rather see home fans in that stand, come on Ben do you really?

Seats once on general sale from this morning went almost straight away. I went online at 9:25 and managed to grab the 6 tickets I wanted. A few minutes later there were just 6 left in the whole stand and they were single seats dotted about block 7.

I don't agree with handing over the whole stand behind the goals (both goals) it'll make like an home game for them. We have every chance of progressing in this cup like last season, for the sake of selling an extra say 1500 tickets does Ben want to give the away team that advantage and thus forfeit (maybe) us progressing further with still a chance of more revenue from it. I know fans have their own opinions on this as Ian says above I don't think this is the correct approach and give fans more time to buy tickets oh! but they aren't available for that stand silly me.

Sorry the main stand is sold out,we have took our allocation and sorry for the Leicester fans, but no room at the inn. Pop side even with the Don Amott fans joining you on this occasion to cheer on the brewers,is what 50% full, All the club asks is can the Burton public match the 3000 that Leicester could sell tomorrow, and we once more come up short, Every time seating is mentioned the Burton public, say how much they enjoy standing,But this is not the issue, any Leicester fan will have to stand, We in the main stand if the pop side was seated would have no problem with it. our problem is for most of us our standing days are over. I am chuffed the main stand sold out, i would be chuffed if the fans of Burton Albion took up their allocation and stop having to moan because this club is not ready to sink back into non-league , because the area just wants cheap football in a empty stadium. people from many miles away show they are willing to fill this very small stadium . Ben Robinson knows their is a demand but not from around here, until we appreciate what we have and support the club , measures that have to be taken. in a effort to move forward and be competitive, Happy to do our bit, still time to take encouragement from the main stand, your area could be sold out, Sad picking on people who have bought tickets===well done Brewers===SOLD OUT how magic those two words are the players and staff deserve it

^^^ The match is nearly 3 weeks away, give the home fans time to decide, put the tickets on sale for the Don Amott stand with the condition they could be moved, this isn't happening. There's a good chance Ben has made his mind up on this.

I think if the popside is only 50% full so far it is fair to say that it seems highly unlikely that the rest will be sold out as well as the Don Amott stand in the next three weeks. This after the club issued a warning that they may pass the Don Amott stand onto Leicester fans if there appeared to be insufficient demand. We can't say we weren't warned!
Personally I have no issue whatsoever with this although I do find it very sad at the apathy of the local floating football fan where we are arguably playing some of the best quality football in our history at the moment and have a good chance of creating yet another cup upset. No issues with the club trying to increase revenue if it helps keep us at the level we are at the moment where the chances are this won't last forever and eventually we will find our natural level probably in the lower reaches of league two or non league.
Preaching to the converted on here I know but this is a bit of a watershed moment for our club's recent history and one I fear maybe repeated in the future when the big boys come to town. I don't think the club will have taken this decision lightly and this has been coming since we failed to sell out games against Derby, Forest and Villa in recent seasons to name just three games.

The principle is the same. If the Brook End is given over there will be Leicester fans on 3 sides of the ground. I accept three weeks to go. But it has not been clear (I don't think) until now, that you can buy a ticket for the Popside and have this transferred to the Brook End if it is opened to the home fans.

I won’t be going to this game, I just have no interest in seeing Premier League teams in the Carabao Cup. (Who drinks that cr*p anyway? It’s not normal.) The romance of the cups died 20 years ago for me as the money got out of control. Frankly if I was thinking about going I’d have got my back up about the passive aggressive approach taken by the club in their communications and given it the swerve. Stop threatening about it and just do it, I don’t know what they think they’re going to achieve by harking on about it repeatedly first. The club does make some strange decisions on the fans liaison side of things at times.

Whichever way you look at it, if we let double the amount of away fans in than their normal max capacity they will will be spread over three sides of the ground. We may as well move the fixture to the King Power stadium such will be their vocal support as an advantage, Ben will also have his extra revenue then.
There's not much that gets my goat with our club, I go along with most of what happens with the club but but filling it with away fans isn't one of them. If it happens I ain't going.

The thought of both ends with away fans in makes me cringe. It's what you expect at a non league club on fa cup day. Change your mind ben please. I think we will get 5000 for this anyway

I recall many years ago suggesting that the club when reading the attendance thanked the people that turned up. I dont think we used to do it. It is many years ago. My reason for suggesting it was the implied criticism of those that turned up for those that didn't.
The people that don't come very often will not be pissed off by the likely decision.
Those regulars who do and can't go where they want, will.
Anyway, nowt to do with me.
