Urgh I hate Leeds. Absolute scum, Viera died and came back. It is Christmas not Easter but we witnessed a miracle.
Foul? I'm not sure.
I leave feeling aggrieved with the ref and Leeds. Nobs
Edit. Will praise us later

Keemar Roofe is a disgrace A decent ref would have dismissed him early in the first half !!!
Dirty Leeds
No wonder no one likes them

Can't help feeling disappointed after going to today's game. When we went 1 up we really had them rattled. We should have made more of the Chance when Allen broke away from the half way in the first half. They would have taken that on and scored from it! Their 1st goal from the free kick, I said to my lad if it's on target it's in! Bywater new it also as he was so nervous and was trying to put them off. Any half decent shot away from him and he really struggles to do anything. Buxton had a good first half but looked tired coming out for the second. Thought Allen struggled in midfield today, its a lot to ask of the lad in the Championship. Always like to see him coming on from the bench though! We do make games hard for ourselves when giving the ball straight back to them. Naylor, best player on the pitch! Why he's missed so many games for us? Got to mention Akins also, had another good game. Looking forward to Saturday. COYB

“The first thing you can do for me is throw your medals in the bin because you’ve never won anything fairly; you’ve done it by cheating.”
Those cheats Bremner & Giles would've enjoyed that today. Leeds scum. Some things never change.
That's the kind of game that makes me want to stop watching football. I've been watching and playing football for 40 years but I'm beginning to despise it. I don't read about it anymore or watch it on the telly. I just watch the Brewers. For now.
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Shaking hands at the start of the match? Why? To show our opponents respects. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
Shaking hands at the end of the match. Ditto.
If a player dives for a foul (actually it's called 'winning a free kick' nowadays, suggesting there is some skill involved) and the ref doesn't think it's a foul, surely he should be booked cos I think it might be cheating.
I've seen some quick recoveries but that nob with the red boots - that's a world record. Still, one of our boys got booked so hey - target achieved. Can't the authorities do something about this? Their no.10 did it four or five times and his highlighted hair looked lovely as he flew threw the air in search of 'winning a free kick'.
That free kick. Bywater gets booked for what? Ungentlemanly conduct. The whole of that five minutes was ungentlemanly, surely. That tw*t who stood there with his shorts round his knees for 90 seconds , just so the ref could see and book Bywater. Have you no self-respect? Oh, no, of course, you play for Leeds. How was it not offside, if half of their team (I stand behind the goal and saw it all) are stood BEHIND our wall? Not intefering with play? I think they were...
Does 'obstruction' exist anymore? This is the game where to top TV pundits say things like "he should have gone down." Why? Cos it cons the ref. OK, Lineker, Lawro, Hansen, Shearer etc - let's give the green light to blatant cheating.
Jermaine Jenas - (crap player - why is HE chosen as an expert) on MOTD when some (Chelsea? Dunno they're all the same to me) player got sent off for punching a player who had just tackled him. Jenas says "His dismissal was unfair in my opinion. It WAS a really bad tackle." Therefore it is OK to punch a player from the opposing team. Jenas still works for the BBC. It's a disease and we're all willing participants.
Don't even get me started on next year's World Cup. So nice for Russia to win the vote fair and square, Mr Abramovich. Leeds Utd (and most other teams) have the resources to beat us 10-0 every game. But you could only win by cheating. You should all be thoroughly ashamed of yourselves for allowing this to continue.
Happy Christmas. Goodwill to all?

Disappointed the subs were not utilised. 2 one down you might as well use all three subs and go for it imo. Overall we looked better than recently . We deserved a point. A couple of decent signings and we'll be ok

Daft challenge from Tom I'm afraid. He's got to cut those daft lunges out of his game.
That's 4 free kicks he's given away needlessly in really good spots for the opposition. One of those was going to cost us eventually, unfortunately Tom lost the plot for 5 minutes, the free kick he gave away jumping into their lad was just as stupid. He's got to know when he can't win the ball..
He puts his lot into every game he plays but he's always got a daft mistake in him .
Shame as apart from the crazy 5 minute spell we looked reasonably comfortable.
Had 2 unbelievable chances to make it two and when we don't take our chances we get beat..
I'm keen to see our chance at the death, from where I was sitting it looked harder to miss.
Still it's been a brilliant Christmas so far and if we can get a point or better against Norwich we'll be delighted.
Would like to see us push the boat out on a natural left footed wing back in January. Someone comfortable going forward someone with a bit of composure. Is anya that man?

Just a point on the Viera recovery, it was quite a bad foul by Tommy Naylor who I think was fortunate ref had just turned his back. It was over the top. The recovery though was a disgrace, I really thought the lad was looking at an amputation at least then he's up and running 10 seconds later. He tried to con the ref and they were all at it which is a shame as they played some really nice stuff in patches. The twot who got Steve booked wants shooting.

We played into there hands I'm afraid, you know they will come with their antics, like most big teams. What was all that about Steeeeve? Needless booking I say, I think it served to stir us up more than them, in the wrong way.
We did good, should have been 2-0 at HT of for that decision by Allen.
One sub used, baffling??
Still we are doing better than expected, on to Sat.

Still we are doing better than expected, on to Sat. I've seen the sub comment quite a bit and this isn't me defending it just putting my view across. The lad i sat next to asked me on 65 minutes who we had to change the game. Joe Sbarra, Matty palmer and will miller. To replace Jamie Allen, Marci Sordell and Sean scannel (who I thought looked his most threatening in spells). We needed someone to nick us a goal, in my opinion the lads already on the pitch we're more likely to get us a goal than the lads on the bench who are all tidy attacking midfielders but they can only attack if we get the ball to them in space which we weren't doing. We were getting at them with what we had on the pitch I'm not sure a like for like swap would have done much good. They chance goes in at the end and the subs question doesn't come up.

^^^ Fresh legs is all I'll say on the matter, why Miller on at 87 mins then?
We all see different things in a match, to me we needed a change, don't care if they are out and out 6'6" goal scorers or nippy little 5ft 0, just a change, give the opposition more to think about.
Nothing ventured.....??

When an "injured" player like that has to go off until the next break in play they should be sent off immediately if they jog merrily off the field like Viera did. Also if one of their players had been on the receiving end of a double footer like Scanell was they would have played it up and got a sending off. We've survived so far playing it fair, some may call it naive, either way it's ridiculous to see a big team like that resorting to those measures against us. I suppose we should at least take it as some kind of compliment.

Two footer, red. Roofe goading fans celebration, yellow card. Well if Morata celebrating in front of his fans is a yellow card, his is. Great free kick. Did Steve pull his shorts down? I found it hilarious if so, that's what I'd assumed a had happened!
The sub thing annoys me. Fresh legs better than tired legs. There were tired legs. As above, the pinball goes in it isn't mentioned.
Bluntly, thought we plated really well today. Infuriating that we lost, but not at our players at all. Personally thought Tom got the ball in the 'foul'. Ref hesitated. Think he thought the same.
Keep those performances up we will stay in this league. Imo.
An undeserved win for the big boys, anyone feel like they did this time last season...?

If only Jamie would of squared the ball across... Can't fault today though as a whole imo, thought our application was first class throughout the game. On another day that could quite easily have been 3 points, or even a point to break our home voodoo. Confident we have more than enough to see it through now, thankfully most teams dont have the same ability as Leeds. Roll on Norwich, I fancy us to get something from that game.

We lost but I don’t feel like I’d seen a poor performance from our lads. Well done.

There lad should have been sent off on half time. We can't understand how you can blow for a foul and blow halftime at the same time. Great performance though brewers.

Agreed. The only feeling of disappointment came from the fact we missed two or three really good chances. In the end we still gave them a much better run for their money than most people would have expected.
