I was never really impressed with any of the JFH signings and I didn't think NEK capable of playing at the QPR level.
So no NEK is not the sort of player we need.

I don't think Nasser is Nigel's sort of player really but sad to see JFH in a mess. It's a funny old game.

JFH hasn't really served his apprenticeship long in English football, before jumping into the big time. On the other hand the man he replaced is doing a fine job at Brum, having got more time in management under his belt. I feared he was a little hasty in leaving the Pirelli stadium so soon, now it seems he, or his team are struggling, which is it?

I think that is probably the issue., Gary Rowett managed 142 games at Burton and of course spent a couple of years as assistant under Pesch. JFH just 54 games (stats from Wikipedia). Maybe he would have been better staying another year os so and really getting a good grounding.

It's strange how things work out for BAFC. If LFH had not gone we obviously would not have NC as our manager now. I think JFH would probably have got us promoted a bit easier with his continuity. But, once promoted there is no way he would have recruited the players that NC has brought in, and we would have really struggled at this level under JFH. There's no way he would have adopted our current style of expansive play either. Somehow fate seems to give our club a helping hand as we go along. Whenever we seem to be heading for a fall, something cushions the fall and we advance even better.

I winced a bit when the goals kept going in last night. However, I hope they don't bounce back against us...

They lost a game of football 0-6 at home (which of course is pretty bad) but at the end of the day there was only 3 points at stake in the game. That's 3 of 138 available in a season. They are 2 points off the play-offs, they have 3 wins, a draw and 3 defeats this season, they are above Wolves, Leeds, A***n V***a, Direby, Cardiff (and us). It seems to be an incredible over reaction by their fans. I might be doing the same had we lost 0-6 at home in a league game admittedly!

A good bit of perspective otep, I wish JFH and his team all the best. I fear for him though, the 'sack him' brigade are out there very quickly, Jimmy needs a bit of time. I do though think he left us a bit to quickly, I reckon he would have been better sticking around until at least the end of the season and whilst I am delighted NC is back, I do also think that if JFH had of stayed we would have had just as much of a fighting chance. I am though not sure that we would still have any money. JFH seemed a bit more profligate than NC.

QPR fans have a tradition of being serial managerial monogamists.

J-F-H does not like conceding goals, and defensive play is fine with a club, out of its depth. The fans will adapt to a siege mentality. But a club with high expectations will expect to attack the opposition,J-F-H-came to Burton a team enjoying success,in league 2, A side put together over time, and had great success winning league two,After taking us to the top of league 1.he moved on to a much bigger club. Taking Rowetts time at Burton a apprenticeship under Pesk, and 142 games in charge. And Nigels 11 years with the club, and experience with Derby 4 years. Plus 18 months with Sheff Utd,2 cup semi finals plus a play off semi final.

However, this is the Championship and there's not a lot of common sense about. Who's playing Newcastle on Saturday? I bet they're kakking themselves.

On the flip side, wonder who'll be the 2nd ex-Premiership manager to manage the Brewers?!
