As we await the news on the next manager here's something to tide us over. A team made up of the best players to have played at Albion's grounds - our boys or opposition players. I'll start us off with Sir Stanley Matthews at no.7

Rooney , Ronaldo and Piquet played against us in one game, they're not bad. We have had some very good players in the past, some ex pro's when we were non league, some already mentioned plus Rowett, Chettle, wassall and many more, some very good non league players including Glasser, Kamara, kurila and again many more but it has to be said, now they are all pro's the current squad playing at the highest level ever must be the best ever.
Edit:- Didn't we have Des Walker for a short while, obviously past his best but what a player in his day.

Keggy, it was Kasper Schmeichel that played in that friendly against Man City. Not Joe Hart.

Good player though, at his peak at Sheffield Wednesday IMHO.

Jimmy Greaves,my dad god bless him said he was the best natural goalscorer he ever saw. Robbed by Sir Alf out of a world cup final place,he said although Hurst got 3 that day Jimmy would have got 6 he was that good. Just about remember him playing at Eton Park early 70s for Barnet in the snow with orange ball and Barnet had to borrow our black and red stripped away kit cause they didnt bring any away kit.
