I'm a new Brew.
What should we expect from Clough?
How would he differ to GR and JFH?
My main question, would he give the same ambition and drive for success? I feel like GR and JFH were pushing for better things which drove the team to better things... Will he be the same?

Without doubt he would be the same. He is ambitious and has proven it with the Brewers. I'm not sure how much you know about his ten years here but basically he was responsible (with Ben's support) for making Burton Albion a football league club. Unfortunately the sheep came asking before the job was complete, but most Brewers fans consider him to be responsible for our promotion into the league. I would have no complaints if he was to take the job again. In fact I look forward to it and hope it could be reality.

I also feel that he would demonstrate loyalty, something that is hard to find in the English football league

In the alternative, consider this point of view from the Facebook page...
No no no no no. Don't want Crosby here. Don't want Garner here. Don't want Taylor here. Don't want Clough. Backward step in every way. Scholes is available. Anybody bar the crap load of journey men managers on the market

Interesting. Cheers Porky.
I notice the support for Clough is most evident here and Facebook/Twitter is seemingly against it.
Hence the questions!
We're capable of championship. We've shown that. Just need someone to take us there

Scholes would have gone with the nevilles if he fancied it or have a more hands on role at salford. Going back to clough though, i think its a good idea but at times you would find yourself very frustrated with some of his decisions.

But the bloke has forgotten more about the game than I'll ever know so it's something we as fans learn to accept .........

Nigel has his own inimitable style, just like his dad did too. But he can spot a player, is astute tactically, likes to play football on the ground and would usually want to play with 2 up top, served by 2 quick wide players. He is a thorough professional, who knows the game at this level who would now benefit greatly from St George's Park and all it offers - we would be lucky to get him frankly.

Clough, yes, Crosby definitely not. Read he would jump at the chance of managing Forest with Cloughie if it came along, please not here Nige.

Very very correct, I may need to steal that if you don't mind ?

Clough and Crosby are a package - you take Nigel and you get Gary too. That's how it works.

Cloughie never had the benefit of using the superb facilities at St George's Park when he was here previously. It's always cited as being one of the reasons why we've fared so well.
