As has been said before people are allowed opinions on a public forum. I don't expect anyone to agree with mine as I also don't agree with a lot of others. My main point was 'prior' to my post above there were several posts from people who rarely post on here who seem to have come on to have a go at a player, the team, the managers decisions on players. Surely they can be positive when things are good, or perhaps even when they aren't good try and find an excuse rather than finger pointing? But porks your posts in particular often seen to be one sided, complaining about something. Have a look at your posts since august. We are tott for some reasons, and one of them is the style Jimmy has the boys playing and as such we have conceded the least goals in the League. Jimmy acknowledges we need more goals and he seems positive that they will come. I do hope he gets Toney in on loan as that would add a spark up front and push the competition for playing time up front. But if people feel the need to single out 'culprits' for the loss they should have noticed that Phil wasn't his usual self yesterday. He kept Washington onside for the first goal after Moose had stepped up, he had a poor header back to help with their 2nd goal and could have done better positionally on the third. But the whole team in general were not their usual selves and as I mentioned in my post above there were many forced changes to the side and positions that affected the balance. Apparently, as someone posted on FB, in his post game interview Jimmy cited 'too many changes' as perhaps being the cause of the substandard performance. My post was the one immediately prior to yours at the top of this page and I rarely post on here nowadays. Can you show me where in my post (it's at the bottom of page 2) I had a go at a player, the team and the managers decisions on players or where I'm "finger pointing"? Also, rather than get another player (Toney) in on loan now (which will stretch the wage bill even more) would you not prefer the players already here to have a run in the side (i.e Joachim) to see what he can do first. You read my first comment then so would have noted that I said "Too many people who rarely post when things are going well suddenly pop up to have a go when things go wrong?? ". I still think that and I didn't single you out, I agree you were not having a go.... The point in my second post and "prior to" (which I think you are focusing on) was that after my first post things calmed down and the only criticism then was directed at me. Regarding AJ, in several of my posts in recent weeks I have been saying the same thing as you, Ie: that I would like to see him given a chance because we haven't seen much of him and not as a starter. But ash from the Burton Mail commented on this point and made a very good point about different playing styles and abilities of the strikers and the decisions Jimmy has to make. Re: Toney, he did well at N'ton last year and seems hungry to play, several others have also said they would like to see him signed, Jimmy said the same so that's good enough for me. Hope this clarifies things.

That's OK peacockbrewer. You and everyone else who posts on this forum is entitled to an opinion and to me that's the whole point of this forum.
As fans we can all have different opinions - I actually think disagreements can sometimes be healthy to encourage debate - about who should be playing, what formation etc but whereas we as fans see the players for 90 minutes every week or other week, the manager works with these players all week and picks the best side he can to try and win the next game.
I think we're all in agreement that JFH and his team have done an excellent job in his (nearly) one year in charge and long may this continue.

Ah ok. It's a long time until our next game at the Pirelli. Unless Millwall gets rearranged before Bury... Tough games in Bury and Wigan away coming up Dec.1st would be the earliest possible date I think: Nov.14 postponed Nov.17 intl break Nov.21 Bury Nov.24 Wigan Nov.28 Colchester Dec.1 .??. Dec.5 FA cup, Millwall are still in Dec.8 .??. Dec.12 Gills Dec.15 .
