Binnom Williams has spent last few months playing centre back for Palace Under 21s
Going to take him a while to adapt to a new role with us as a starter at least

Felt for Jerome, but he will be back, and it was clearly the right thing to take him off at half time. Nasser tormented them, until he tired near the end. He had to be booked for what was simply a clumsy challenge. He is not a tackler, but on the ball he is fantastic. Overall happy with a point from a very well contested and clean game of football. My only real complaint is our finishing. too many of our shots, in fact nearly all our shots, are over the bar. Time for shooting practice at keeping the ball down I feel.

Great team performance don't know what was up with JBW but he didn't look like he should be or wanted to be on the pitch. Only change for sat would be Akins to start. Think he was (censored) off that he was being manhandled too much and let it get to him, they kept close guard on him. Sure Jimmy will see all this and bring the young lad along so he can deal with all this. My guess is the 'censored' word is… pissed

Reading the Blades forum it would seem in the main both our team and us supporters made a favourable impression on them.

I put it in. I have used unfavoured words before. Yes JBW looked a little ruffled and he was looking to the ref too much for help. I like him but last night just not able to do his stuff.

JBW:
It seems that - fortunately for Burton - whenever JBW is doing poor, El Khayati begins to play well. Likewise when El Khayati starts to falter, JBW pops up and plays well. A nice position to be in!
I thought JBW was poor in his first couple of games ... but now I think he's great.
It seems that EL Khayati's 'Time off' has been spent getting fitter and putting on weight after Ramadan (I did enjoy the sponsors giving him a bottle of champagne......!). Highlights show him playing with the pizzazz we remember!
SUFC/Fans - It seems that every club that comes to Burton are complimentary of the team/fans which is nice to hear! I think it's because they all see us as a small club and have a bit of an FA Cup feel about our games.

Re: JBW, it looked to me that following the jubilation of the Chesterfield finale the team initially got a bit too carried away with the notion/realisation that they've got a big strong pacy fella up the field who might just create something - it felt like any fledging phase of possession was immediately being targeted down that left wing and Jimmy's intervention at half time was good management. What I do like about 'The Bin Man' is his ability to hold the ball up and I think this will only grow in value as Duffy, Butcher etc continue to progress as a unit. Saw one or two glimpses of final third class last night from Butcher which is really encouraging. All in all a really good return for Tuesday night league games under the lights at the Pirelli, my favourite games. What a great place we're in, keep enjoying it everyone and Come On You Brewers!
