Everyone put a shift in tonight, well done lads, a point well earned and can't complain with that. As said Sheffield will be up there in those top spots. More big games coming thick and fast, we can handle it for sure.

Really enjoyed that. Thought Sheffield United were possibly the best team we've faced so far. Lots of quick, sharp passing and always found their man. Just a lack of a cutting edge up top. The important thing was that we didn't hide and we stood up to the task. Our passing might not have been as sharp but the work rate was outstanding as always and if the finishing was a little more clinical we could have nicked it.

Excellent game from two good teams. This performance has convinced me we will be there or there abouts at the death.
Yes we defended deep at times but I think that was tactical to cut down their space in the final third.
Going forward we looked dangerous when we got round the back on the wings.
The game could have gone either way but shows we have nothing to fear in this league.
Also I hope the Sheriff has got his seat reserved for the bench because O'connor was outstanding.

Thought for a minute that Peacock might have to buy "the ground" a drink! Maybe 4,500 to 5,000 there tomorrow do you think? Depending how many blades come into the Popside there could be 5k plus? What was it 5029? Over 90 mins tonight I think we were the better side. Over the 10 games so far, Duffy is improving every game, and the 4 (5) defenders have been solid every game, Beavon has been a workhorse every minute he is on the field and has 5 goals in his stats so far. Butcher has been very solid the last few games. For me Robbie Weir has been excellent in every game that I have seen and is my POTY so far. COYB!! Managed to catch last 25 mins of this game on way back from training on Radio Derby
The commentators said both teams had good spells in the game and neither team could argue with a draw really
They said Nassr had a great ten minute spell during which he missed the best chance to win the game
They finished by saying that it is a sign of the stature of the club now that Burton would have many fans going home after the game disappointed we didn't win the match

Great team performance don't know what was up with JBW but he didn't look like he should be or wanted to be on the pitch. Only change for sat would be Akins to start.

Great team performance don't know what was up with JBW but he didn't look like he should be or wanted to be on the pitch. Only change for sat would be Akins to start. Think he was (censored) off that he was being manhandled too much and let it get to him, they kept close guard on him. Sure Jimmy will see all this and bring the young lad along so he can deal with all this.

Thought we were more balanced with Akins on the right and Nasser down the left. It allowed so many others to play to their strengths, Duffy and Beavon in particular. Felt sorry for Jerome Binnon-Williams as he is a confidence player and that may well knock him for a while, he seemed totally confused as we came up to half time what was being asked of him.

Good point from a tough game, where both teams pretty much cancelled each other out.
Didn't think Sheffield were that great really and certainly didn't impress as much as Coventry?
Either side could have pinched it so a point each was probably the right result.
There were some very good individual performances, notably Duffy, Nasser, Beavon Weir and O'Connor. Binnom-Williams was surprisingly off it and Akins far more lively when he was introduced.
I'm sure Binnom-Williams won't like me saying it but I like him coming off the bench to ring the changes when we need it but he will of course be aiming for 90 minutes, not 10 or 20!
On to a tough but winnable game on Saturday...wonder how cynical Southend will be this year and hope the referee isn't conned by them, as we have seen in the past?
