From the Official site;- JFH's thoughts going into the clash with Rochdale.. BREWERS boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is looking for Albion to maintain top form for the whole game against Rochdale. I'm looking for 90, 96 minutes that is a very good professional performance" Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink The Brewers boss is happy with Albion's productive start to the League One season but still doesn't think he has seen a complete performance from his team despite four wins in six games. "It's not a bad start," he says. "It's not a bad start at all, two points per game. But I'm looking for 90, 96 minutes that is a very good professional performance." Hasselbaink thinks the Brewers instead have been good in patches. "At Blackpool we played the first 15 minutes really well, half an hour not so well and the second half we were excellent." He's hoping to get that complete performance as the Brewers take on Rochdale at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday. "We will talk about the game, show the players some highlights and move on from the Coventry game." More from the manager today as we report live from the Wednesday morning press conference. From rochdale Offy.. Kennedy: We’ve Got That Sort Of Mentality Where We’re Going Into Every Game Confident image: www.rochdaleafc.co.uk/cms_images/kennedy-2015-16-4x3223-2677190_478x359.jpgPUBLISHED 09:15 9th September 2015 Dale PlayerHD had a midweek chat with Tom Kennedy... The full-back, who reflected on the season so far, is in confident mood ahead of Saturday’s trip to Burton Albion. “You’ve got to look at the season as a whole and the start we’ve made has been good. “As a collective team, we’re a little bit disappointed not to have won every game because we’ve got that sort of mentality where we’re going into every game confident. “We never underestimate an opponent but we’ve got faith in our squad as a whole. You’ve seen that when we’ve had injuries and we’ve had people coming in and going back out of the team again. It's a very strong squad, but it’s also a confident squad. “And like you saw on Saturday [against Fleetwood Town], we still had a chance to win the game at the end, but it’s not going to halt our momentum and our mind-set, which is keep working hard and good things happen.” Dale make the trip to the Pirelli Stadium to face a Brewers side who have so far adapted well to life in League One following their promotion as Champions at the end of last season. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side are currently fifth in the table, just a point and a place above Dale. Kennedy admits it’s a game that the players are looking forward to. “In my opinion, there are no easy games in this league. It’s a very competitive league and I’ve no doubt that they [Burton Albion] will be up there at the end of the season. “It’s another test for us but it’s one that we’re relishing and looking forward to. “We don’t fear anybody. We go into every game having our game plan that the Gaffer sets us, so we know what we’re doing and that’s all we can do. “If we work hard and give 100-percent every game, then I don’t think we’ll go far wrong.” The full interview is available to view on Dale PlayerHD. Refwatch: Burton v Dale Thursday, 10th Sep 2015 05:34 by TVOS Hull referee Carl Boyeson will be the man in the middle for Dale’s trip to Burton on Saturday.
Having joined the league list in 2002, Saturday will be Carl’s 19th game involving Dale, with one of the most incident-packed coming at Notts County in January 2005.
The match finished 0-0 and was a fairly timid affair, but Mr Boyeson sent off Dale’s Gareth Griffiths and Ernie Cooksey as we finished the afternoon with only nine men.
Skip advertisement Cooksey’s red card was later rescinded, meaning he was free to take part in the FA Cup tie at Charlton five days later.
It’s been just over a year since we saw Carl as he was the referee for last season’s first away fixture at Chesterfield.
That was another eventful afternoon, as Josh Lillis had to leave the field on a stretcher, Johny Diba took over and was lucky not to receive a red card and both teams scored penalties in The Spireites’ 2-1 win!
Back in our 2013/14 promotion season, Carl refereed two Dale games and proved a lucky charm as they produced six points.
Early in the campaign he was in charge of the 1-0 home defeat of bury and in late-March he was the man in the middle as we won 2-0 at Wycombe.
Carl’s full record at Dale matches is:
Aug 02 Southend (h), L 1-2
Jan 03 Lincoln (h), L 0-1
Jan 05 Notts Co (a), D 0-0
Apr 05 Leyton Orient (h), W 2-0
Aug 05 Bradford (h, CC), L 0-5
Apr 06 Barnet (h), D 1-1
Sep 06 Shrewsbury (h), D 1-1
Dec 06 Hartlepool U (a), L 0-1
Oct 07 Darlington (a), D 1-1
Feb 08 Bradford (a), W 2-1
Oct 08 Morecambe (a), D 1-1
Apr 10 Bournemouth (h), D 0-0
Jan 11 Tranmere (h), W 3-2
Feb 12 Bournemouth (h), W 1-0
Mar 13 Morecambe (a), L 0-3
Sep 13 bury (h), W 1-0
Mar 14 Wycombe (a), W 2-0
Aug 14 Chesterfield (a), L 1-2

Just found this...from the Manchester Evening News
New Dale signing feels the whole defence should be taking the plaudits after a positive start in League One
Jim McNulty may have been nominated for League One’s player of the month award – but the humble defender admits he would have swapped it for a Rochdale win last Saturday.
The 30-year-old, who has been an ever-present since signing from Bury this summer, missed out to Coventry’s Adam Armstrong.
McNulty helped Dale keep four clean sheets in six league games but says he owes his nomination to the strength and cohesion of his defensive partners.
“It was nice to be nominated but, if I’m being honest, I’d have swapped it for a victory at Fleetwood,” said McNulty.
“I’d have swapped it for a clean sheet as well. I just want to keep clean sheets and that nomination came because of the team’s clean sheets.
“I wouldn’t say I’ve been particularly better than anyone else - but they had to pick a name in Rochdale’s back line and I got picked!”
While only arriving at Spotland in the summer, McNulty looks like he’s been at the heart of Dale’s defence for much longer given the way he has gelled with his new club.
The former Barnsley captain admits his transition has been smooth having played under manager Keith Hill at Oakwell, not to mention being re-united with old team-mates Tom Kennedy and Reuben Noble-Lazarus.
“The transition from being at another club to being at this club has been seamless for me,” added the ex- Stockport defender.
“I haven’t felt any sort of nerves of going to a new changing room – I think I’m probably too old for that now!
Jackie Meredith PhotographyMcNulty celebrates Peter Vincenti's goal against Barnsley with Calvin Andrew (centre) “There’s a lot of famicensored.word faces in that dressing room and the manager is a famicensored.word voice to me.
“It’s the same messages that I’ve had before, I’m just picking them up and rolling with it.”
Dale travel to League One new boys Burton Albion on Saturday – a side that McNulty is famicensored.word with having faced them twice last season, when the Brewers and Bury won promotion from League Two.
Their manager – former Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and Netherlands star Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink – has utilised his contacts to attract forwards such as Abdenasser El Khayati, Aurelien Joachim and Timmy Thiele from the continent to the Midlands club.
With Hasselbaink’s European knowledge, McNulty feels Burton play with a foreign style and has warned against their attacking prowess as they sit a point above Dale in fifth place.
“It will be a tough game,” he added. “I played against them last season, they are a good side.
“Jimmy has really organised them, I think they’re a very difficult side to beat, first and foremost – and I don’t teams get many chances against them.
“They set up slightly different to most English teams. I think he’s brought some foreign ideas when defending set-pieces.
“With long balls, I think he sets the team out slightly different to English sides as well and I think it makes them hard to beat.
“It will definitely be a tough game and they’ve added some very good attacking threats to the side. They have been doing very well in the league also, so it will be a tough game.”

It's match day.
Does anyone think there will be any surprises in the lineup?
I'm thinking Nasser could get dropped...

Been off his game a little bit but could make a big impact as a sub on tired legs

I agree.
A lot of our subs seem to make an impact... Then don't do as well when starting!
