I have to say Mark Duffy today was awesome. Had a standing ovation when he went off (guess that's normal for terraces ). The away attendance must have only been 200ish and home attendance was awful. Which I didn't like. We're going to have to oust Derby before our attendances rise I think! All in all we had a solid game and stopped them having a shot on target. Onwards and upwards. Rochdale are a good team and we kept them very quiet

A very well fought win today, which we really needed with two tough away games and then Sheffield United at home to come.
Thought the referee was the worst we've seen for at least two seasons and how he missed or worse still, misinterpreted some situations was nothing short of abject!
Being positive, we did just enough to score a goal and I thought on the whole we defended pretty well, although we had one or two sticky moments as players dallied and got caught in possession, when they had easy out balls that could have been played quicker.
Several players did very well, especially Duffy who was absolutely superb today, Beavon was his usual self, annoying defenders constantly, and Robbie putting himself around very well.
All in all it was a bit of a grind but three very well won and thoroughly deserved points and I would still say, heaven help anyone when we finally start playing well...and we will!

Thanks for clearing that up Funky...we thought it was Beavon but couldn't really see from the home end.
Hope we can score down our end next home game!

I did post it at the time but forgot bout the abbreviation rule. To be fair putting Shane Cansdell-Sherriff into a 'phone at the match is a bit of a stretch :-)

Seen the goal on Sky Sports News (SSHHQ), the presenter said we were against Rotherhan, that Akins took the free kick and that Beavon scored with a header, that will be 0/4.
By the way that is two abbreviation breaches in one post Peacock, I am counting :-D

The replay on beeb is hard to tell, looks like Duffy --> Beavs flick --> either an SCS header or a Dale defender OG If it was Beavs who got a flick (if indeed anyone got a flick) and SCS didn't head it then it must be an OG. Twitter reported an OG, SCS said 'it's my goal' Duffy rightly MOTM

Of course I could be completely wrong...
