Not allowed unfortunately.
You have to play at least six players who played in the last game or six of the highest appearance makers this season to date.
Rules introduced a few seasons ago to prevent sides making wholesale changes.

I think they should take the hint, if you have rules like this it's clearly a competition players, and therefore fans, don't enjoy. We need to focus on the league and the pressure on the squad from League, capital cup, fa cup, jpt. Anyway, I suspect we'll make 5 changes then.

Another point of view - the JPT is a winnable trophy for Burton Albion this season. Wembley final and a bit of silverware is not to be sneezed at. And winning games is a good habit.

I guess we have the squad for it... Just want us to focus on the league though. It's hard enough being newly promoted. Wonder if we'd get a better turnout at Wembley if we did get there? BR said it wasn't as good for the books as he'd have hoped last time.

I have to say, this is not a competition I can warm to. You can't though blame the sponsors for ensuring our clubs treat them with respect, by fielding a strong team.

This rather helpfully has been posted on Facebook: Dean MedcalfBurton Albion FC 1 hr · Hello everyone First can I introduce myself I am the Supporter Liaison Officer at Doncaster Rovers. I am here just to post a quick message and some information regarding your visit to the Keepmoat Stadium. On Tuesday the Burton Albion fans will be allocated our North Stand, which holds around 3300 fans. If you travel down without a ticket then you can purchase them from our Soccer Centre which is located to the right hand side of the away end. Myself and the stewards will be able to direct you if you need help. Once you have arrived at the Keepmoat there will be food and drink available in the ground. If you would like a drink and pie before you enter the ground, then the away fans are welcome in the Belle Vue Bar (named after our former ground) which is located at the West Stand. We have some fantastic offers available of a pie & a pint for just £5 or 2 pints for £6! Here is a link to our away fans guide that was produced by the club with information regarding the Keepmoat and the surrounding areas. If you have time it is well worth a read. Please note that some of the food and drink prices in this document are out of date, apologies for this I am still awaiting the club to update the document. www.doncasterroversfc.co.uk/…/drfc-awaysupporterguid…Just a quick traffic update for Saturday. There are major road works taking place in and around Doncaster at the moment, this is causing delays on the A1 around Doncaster so please allow time for these delays when travelling. After the game Junction 3 on the M18 will be closed due to ongoing road works. You will need to follow the signs for the A1(M), the following directs should help: After exiting the Keepmoat turn right and follow Middle Bank Road to the roundabout take the 4th onto White Rose Way take the 1st exit on to Carr House Rd continue on to Balby Road till you reach the runabout take the 1st exit onto the A1(M) and follow the signs for the M18 If you have any questions then please get in touch the email address is supporterliaison@doncasterroversfc.co.uk . Or you can tweet me at @drfc_away. Thank you for your time, I hope to see you tomorrow night and that you all have a safe journey. Kind Regards Dean Medcalf Supporter Liaison Officer Doncaster Rovers FC

Anyone who uses the word first, as opposed to firstly which is grammatically incorrect needs to be listened to.

I think i'm correct in saying that we have never won a game in this competition. I'm almost proud of that statistic. It got even more tinpot as a competition when they had to bring the rule in about squad changes to stop everyone just fielding the youth teams. And yes winning is a good habit.. but losing at the first hurdle in the JPT has done us no harm every season in the league so far.
However if we do get all the way to Wembley I will completely change my opinion and will be there wearing my 'I love the JPT' t-shirt (might have to make my own) and carrying a big inflatable paint pot.

Just a gentle reminder for those like me who have forgotten that tickets need to be bought before the game from the Pirelli..... Mine is now sorted.
