Yeah. If you are too tight to pay. Please don't make disparaging remarks about me, not necessary

No running commentary on the BBC Sport site for this game.
Ash is using a different "blog" system from what he has used in the past. It sucks !
Score at about 75 mins in is 0-0

Fairly decent game I thought. Obviously the general apathy for the competition was there for all to see with the low crowd.
Good performances from McCrory, O'Connor, Palmer and Flanagan in particular but my man of the match was Robbie Weir. The drive and determination of that bloke is something else. Was spraying some cracking long range passes about as well. Joachim battled but looked isolated and somewhat frustrated all on his own up top and yet again JBW came on and made an impact. Seconds after he came on he created our best chance by skinning two players and setting up Akins who fluffed his lines. I think Jerome HAS to start on Sunday. Matthews made a few very good saves as well. Overall I think we were the better team with the better chances but if you don't take them then you get punished.
Finally, Doncaster Rovers. Great club, very welcoming and friendly stewards, staff and supporters and the lads behind the goal opposite us kept the noise up for the full 90 minutes. Kudos to them. Very much looking forward to returning to the Keepmoat on the final day of the season.

Sounds good Spence. Despite my obvious love for El Khayati I feel like JBW can certainly make the same impact with more presence and a much better defensive mind. For that reason, he will start Sunday imo. Coventry attack, a lot. We need to stay focused and track back to win and hopefully we get them with a quick break or Smash and grab again. I see it being similar to the Shrewsbury game. At least most our first team are well rested

He's an absolute unit and he's got an abundance of skill as well. He occupies defenders and makes space for others. You never know, maybe him and Nasser in the team together might work. If you include Beavon you'd have three players up top who can pull defenders all over the place. Loads of movement there.

You know we've had the debate before about whether it's worth paying extra for the Brewers Player? It is everyone's choice after all we ALL do or at least should pay the Licence fee and get paid for coverage via the BBC. In fact the old extra privilege for those who can or want tony for the player is diminishing as the highlights coverage of a match is easily accessible via the Internet shortly after the game now, so if it is worth it is up to the individual. Who are you to say who is tight or not.....
Back to thread. For those who listened whatever method of their choice hopefully understood what a frustrating night it was. Donnies team was young but outclassed and if it hadn't been for a couple of fantastic saves then we might have got the result. Their fans, and I spoke to two groups, all said we should have put the game to rest in plenty of time. And out of all of our team it was the hero of the hour who was disappointing. Duffy just wasn't in the game at all. By the end of the ninety minutes the atmosphere had flagged and actually when it came to penalties I just knew that we had lost the game. Am mildly miffed but am more concerned about Sunday. COYB

We haven't been involved in many shoot outs, but I can't remember us winning one. The last one that comes to mind was a Northern League cup game (it may have been the final). against Accrington Stanley at Eton Park, which makes it about 14 years ago, and we lost that one.

I listened on two tin cans tied together with a very taut piece of string.

Exactly what Norah said. As soon as that final whistle went you just knew. I have to admit I also forgot about Sheffield United and had the same conversation last night about us not winning shootouts!
