Went into the club shop to book the coach and get match tickets this lunchtime. We were on coach 4 already. I also have the game tickets.

I also hear that the Beacon are already on coach three, so that's seven without counting the Beech, whom I believe took three to Morecambe, so if they match that, that's over 500 going by coach.

I gather we have only been given 500 tickets by Cambridge for the game , although the Albion are hoping to get more .

Same here claymillman, I was on coach 2 on Saturday and the same as you I'm on coach 4 to Cambridge, we must stop meeting like this ! I heard we have(and my ticket is for the) South stand which holds 1,400, so as a guess I would say that is how many tickets will be getting.

Got mine last week but we usually travel by car...might consider the train for Cambridge but it's usually far too expensive for three of us and so many places these days require two or even three changes of train!

Too right Terraceman...remember the Matlock FA Trophy semi-final first leg? Brilliant!
Just priced up Cambridge for 2 adults (my 16 year old pays full fare!) and one under 16...cheapest deal is £133.50!!
Not bad timings and only one change at Leicester but a ridiculous price, so I'll burn some more diesel instead and probably save myself £100.

Cambridge isn't too difficult by car, what would be the point of the new high speed train link ? the working man will never be able to afford to use it !

To Morecambe as far as I know there were 6 coaches in total. 3 official 2 Beacon 1 Beach. I think we will have more to Cambridge.

First train to Matlock Terraceman.
Absolutely right about pricing the average working man off the train network too.
I thought we were supposed to be promoting public transport, to keep car usage down...oh of course that was just so that John Prescott could drive his two Jag's straight in and out of London!

I didn't realise John Prescott was still in government. Who was it who privatised the rail network I wonder?

By my calculation then that's 6 from the club, 3 from the Beacon and 2 from the Beech so far which makes 11 coaches 10 days before the match.

I take it we are on the terracing at the side rather than in that stand that's so far behind the goal it's practically in St Neots?

On FB someone said 14 buses now with reservations continuing. There were 5 buses at Morecombe and 727 fans in total. Cambridge will be stacked.
AND it has apparently been announced that it will be sit where you want, ignoring the assigned seating on the tickets themselves...

Got to be at least 1000 going at that rate then, as 14 coaches is already over 700?
