I'd hope we can win this one about 3-0 to boost the morale of the club and its fans early on.
But I think we'll endure a frustrating 1-1 draw where we fail to take our chances.

Agree with you about boosting morale Adam, but when you look at today's Mail you see what a hard job that will be. No one posting on here seems to rate Adi Yussuf but he appears to have posed our most attacking threat so far. It dampens enthusiasm alot when you read that GR is likely to drop him. I can't remember being less excited about the start of a football season. If the manager is making decisions like that fans will not be convinced that anything has changed from the past three years.

Lose 1-0 Very unoptimistic after saturday. Would like to see a certain Goalkeeper on the bench tonight.

The Mail says Jack Dyer is out and Palmer or Maghoma are likely to fill in for Bell. I think Gary would be foolish not to consider G for a starting role out wide as well.
I've got to say that I like Palmer in central midfield. He's got a brilliant range of passing and we all know what he can potentially deliver from set pieces. With Diamond in the side we could (or should) have more of a threat from corners and free kicks, something we've been sorely lacking in recent years.
1 - 0 Brewers for me.

with Weirdo and Jacques our only real threats in midfield tonight I'm a bit worried. If G is fit then yes he should be on the wing. Think we should play a 4-3-3, the D is sound enough and Ross has been playing well so far.
I predict 2 X 45mins with a bit of added time,a pint at halftime, no red cards and one side leaves happy.

well, I think I win the prediction but it was good to see Dyer fit to play, and kudos to Cleve on the first goal. I'm not a big fan but I hope he changes my mind this year.
