They are a big strong side, but their major attacking in the first half was "The Stoke City" phylosophy; the long throw, which brought their second goal. Very little else. They were more creative in the second half, though much of that was against 10 men. Two down in 10 minutes was always going to be a mountain to climb, and I'm afraid we failed, but overall I am not personally downhearted, there were many positives, so it's onwards and upwards.

I'd like to think all their goals had an element of luck; a soft penalty, a lucky bounce after a long throw in and a deflected shot but in truth they earned their luck. They are a good strong side who should be hard to beat especially at home in their excellent stadium. Your opinion- but and i say this honestly and not through tinted glasses as such i really felt they were pretty ordinary, yes a big strong physical side but no great shakes had we not had gifted them 2 goals and a preventable sending off we really should have given them a better game, whilst i see this being a long season again for us i think rotherham wont find too many others in this league as charitable as our goodselves !
