This was the chairman's notes from the programme on Tuesday night regarding season tickets:
"Can I take this opportunity to remind you that you only have until Friday to take advantage of our great value Season Ticket offer. We have been determined to offer our loyal supporters the best prices we could and that's why our Season Tickets are being frozen for the third consecutive year - but only until April 19.
If you buy or renew in the Early Bird window, you will be able to buy a Season Ticket at the same price you paid for the 2021/22 season which with the impact of inflation during that time and with everything else going on is an amazing offer but something we felt we had to do as we recognised the impact of the cost of living crisis.
Here at Burton Albion, we have always done everything we can to make watching football as affordable as possible for as many people as possible and we deeply value all of our supporters and our Season Ticket holders show great loyalty to the club and it's only right that we reward them for their ongoing support.
In return, I hope as many of you as possible will show faith in us by committing to supporting us again next season. Your support is greatly appreciated and helps us with all the things we do in the community such as the 750,000 Covid and flu jabs delivered by our vaccination centre.
Our community trust reaches more than 14,000 people, delivering more than 40 wide ranging projects and a recent independent impact report assessed our economic impact on the local area at a staggering £7 million a year.
Buying a season ticket support all of that as well as showing loyalty to the football club
Thanks to all those who have already bought a Season Ticket for next season and I hope to see that number grow before the Early Bird Window closes."

I'm half expecting a club name change over the summer to Pfizer Brewers or Moderna Albion.

Just renewed mine for next year. £385 i'll never see again but will I get value for money? Wasn't sure whether to renew or not but then I thought of the 750,000 Covid jabs that the club had done so I quickly renewed. It actually could have been 750,001 jabs given but when I turned up for my third or fourth(can't remember) last year I was turned away as the computer said i'd already had mine(when I hadn't). I was moved away from the main area and had to wait for somebody in authority to come and speak to me and question me as to whether I had had the jab or not and I kept telling them I hadn't but they didn't believe me and sent me away. I always wondered what it would feel like to be spoken to by someone who thought you had dementia. On that morning I found out!

I’m not renewing as a protest. It will cost me more in the long run but I don’t see why I should dance to their tune.

No it wasn't Ben but whoever it was made me feel a right numpty. Also the person said he would contact my GP surgery first thing Monday morning to find out what the issue was. I said good luck with that as it's almost impossible to get somebody to pick the phone up at our doctors. Anyway, he never came back to me so must be still in the queue at position 118,231!

I renewed my season ticket today.
Since the age of 9, at 3pm on a Saturday, I’ve either been watching or playing football.
4 miserable seasons won’t change that!
