He's done an outstanding job on a tight budget, not always flavour of the month, but total respect for what he's done

I don’t know if this has been posted elsewhere…. It is interesting. Andy Holt (chairman) is very transparent on Twitter until he gets a persistent load of stick and then he takes a time out. Recently he has been very clear about the costs/risks of running a League Two club and the potential price increases next season. That led to further criticism especially from Wrexham fans who perceive they were overcharged at Accy. He was also very transparent that any future playing budget would be reduced (examples of wages being paid to players not available). They got stuffed at Wrexham yesterday. He has deleted his Twitter (again), and the future of Accy is vulnerable I think.

Good manager who has been (mostly - I think he nipped off to Rochdale briefly once?) a loyal and dependable manager who gets the best out of his players on a low budget. I will always doff my hat to him out of respect for how he looked after Billy Kee. Things tend to go downhill when clubs fall out with their legendary managers.

I will always doff my hat to him out of respect for how he looked after Billy Kee. Things tend to go downhill when clubs fall out with their legendary managers. Indeed, a very difficult act for the new manager to follow especially if, as Ian says above, they need to further reduce their playing budget for next season too.

He's been a pain in our backside over the years, but give him his due he has done a superb job at Accy over the years who probably have less money than us. I hope he lands another job .
