What a turn around in the 2nd half
We got in their faces and stopped their tikkki takki passing rubbish and they couldn’t deal with us
Their goalie probably should have done better with both our goals, but who cares!
Really good team performance and an excellent 3 points

WHAT A WIN!!!! Amazing what football can do for your nerves. 20 minutes to go with us losing and Vale and Charlton winning the league table was looking decidedly worrying. However, with those results being turned on their heads plus defeats for Shrewsbury & Reading leaves the table looking very nice! Two home games to come where hopefully we can consolidate the brilliant two away wins which for me are absolute bonus results. I was hoping we could get to 40 points by month end before it started and that was with playing the Carlisle and Cheltenham games so win on Saturday and we will have achieved that without playing those two games. Still as MP said, let's hunt the teams above us, which we are certainly doing. However, with my negative head on I am always looking behind first!
Fantastic, fantastic win against the form team of the league over the last 10 games albeit I have seen comments from their fans saying they can't believe they lost against the worst team they have played this season. Oh well, nothing changes there! Well done everybody and lets hope for a dry 7 days ahead of next week(although it's raining now!). COYB!!

If we were the worst team they have played all season, they must have played some TOP teams. I thought we were excellent.

They need to look at themselves. Having the ball a lot doesn't make you a good team. Max has made one save, I think, and that when they broke from our mistake. Times when they had the ball when they looked the worst team we've played. (in my opinion). Just how much possession can you waste?

Fantastic 3 points! Just wish our tactics were not too sit back for the whole of the 1st half as it nearly cost us. Poor penalty to give away which they played for imo but with us just sitting back and absorbing pressure it’s not easy…. Sit in for 15-20mins and then have a go at them as when we did 2nd half they looked very ordinary.
Again Adebomi looked quality up front by himself, hopefully he’ll get a decent chance to score soon. Everyone put a shift in today, pleased for Bennett who now looks a different player. I thought Helm look very comfortable in possession today and I couldn’t help but think that he could do a job up front if we ever play two up top.
Coming from being 1 down to take all 3 points away…. 👏🏻

Unsurprisingly, their manager is completely delusional about what he has just seen. Apparently we "came for a draw". Whereas, we were just not bothered if his defenders tapped the ball to each other for two thirds of the game

Great result. That was a more hard fought victory than the previous week and at half time did not look likely with only 17% pocession, but it means nothing if you cannot do anything with it. Second half we came out and had a real go. As already eluded to why could we not start like that? Helm, Bennett took the headlines but I thought Sweeney was awesome. Brisbane Road is an interesting ground. A mixture of old and new with apartment blocks in each corner and behind where the club sold some land a few years back. Some people stood on balconies with a great view of the pitch 🙂. Good turnout yesterday from The Brewers and the fans sang throughout. Even found a pie and mash shop down Leytonstone High Street for a bit of East end tradition!

I enjoyed watching that! I don’t think I’ve seen an Albion win in that manner for some time. I have felt with some of our victories this season they’ve been a little bit against the run of play, we’ve got the breaks at the right time through an own goal, penalty, a sending off and so on.
Yesterday was a thoroughly deserved victory against a very good Orient side.
I was a bit disappointed in the way we set up which was clearly to defend and invite them to break us down. We put five across the back with Joe Powell sitting deep and left those up front to close and hassle and defend from the front. For all their pretty passing and dominant possession Orient couldn’t break us down, and to be fair, created very little. When they scored just before half-time from a silly, defensive mistake, you felt it was game over because we had had no attacking intent and had created absolutely nothing.
If ever a side had a Plan B, then it was put into action second half. We matched them in possession. We set about them and we looked like scoring. We did so and rather than shut up shop we went on to get 2! Thoroughly deserved.
I don’t think we should go overboard about it, but those three points don’t half make the table look a little bit better. Fair play also to the numbers of Albion fans who you could clearly hear and see in the stand.
One big moan from me. I didn't think it would be possible but the long throw seems to be even more in evidence. We are employing the tactic from any point in their half it seems and not just that bottom third of the pitch. When you think of all the statistics that fly around in football matches these days somebody must be recording how many long throws we take in a game. I would confidently say we haven't scored from one in over 2 years now. In fact it's odds on the defending team will hit us on the break with greater likelihood of scoring. I've submitted the question to open forum evenings before but I guess it's always seemed as criticism rather than a genuine question. Why?

It was good to see everybody else rated as over 7.0 with just Ola-Adebomi, Ciaran Gilligan and Max Crocombe below 7.0. Which feels a bit unfair on all 3 of them.

Not much to add to the usual high level of comments on here (good bunch) but I am delighted for Mason Bennet getting his goal today, which was really well taken and well-deserved. I've said it before, if we can get him full of confidence and feeling happy, he could be one of the best players in this division. I'm proud of the chap this morning.
I'm going to say that Martin Paterson's tactics yesterday were not only spot-on, they were genius. The O's patient build-up play relies on team getting frustrated with a lack of possession and committing too much forwards so that they can exploit the gaps (well, pass to Moncur anyway) but Martin had got us well-drilled and solid for the first-half. The penalty wasn't part of the plan, but I also expect that Martin DID anticipate us going a goal down despite our tactics. Second half we switch into not an all-out attack, but into a unit which moves through the gears to push into their half and exploit a bit of complacency. Very much a "group" performance that, following a smart tactical plan. COYB
