Well we've got Sunderland and Oxford again next season to play. Poor performances by Sunderland did for them, they had chances though in both legs to see them through to Wembley but blew it. I see Tom Flanagan was dropped for the second leg yesterday, had a mix up with their keeper in the first leg which cost a goal. Oxford completely blew it in the first home leg and were chasing the game in the return, a brave effort but that did for them really in the second leg. Lincoln or Blackpool, I fancy Blackpool as they still seem to be on a crest of a wave. Remember when we played them at home they went on a surge and and pulled away then the latest surge has put them well and truly where they are today.

Watching the Sunderland - Lincoln yesterday , Sunderland absolutely murdered Lincoln in the first half and you could only see them progressing to Wembley . But second half Lincoln were a team transformed .What was said in the dressing room at half time certainly worked for Lincoln .

Delighted that Oxford are remaining at their natural level, but feel a bit sorry for Sunderland fans.
Promotion for Lincoln would be a remarkable achievement but Blackpool must be favourites.

We could have Newport County next season if they beat Morecambe in the league Two play off final , if they do we could be having a familiar face playing against us , in the form of Kevin Ellison at the tender age of 42 . Must say he did score a very good goal last night .
