I wonder when the outs will start coming... Glad we've already got good solid replacements in, or lined up though. We'll be very few players clubs for life đ

If itâs true and he is over his injury from 2018 then this could be a hell of a signing. I know the gaffer rated him very highly during their time together at Sheffield a United and seem to remember he went for a seven figure fee to Brighton.
Suspect that if it happens,I predict the word âmoistâ might get an airing. Letâs see if there is anything in it.

He could be gambling on going up (without overspending)

Holy poo!
If we've signed him get ready to see the best player you've ever had the joy to watch pull on a brewers shirt.
He's direct, he's brilliant on the left cutting in or through the middle as an advanced Humber 10. He'll bring goals, he'll bring assists and there will be days where he'll terrify opponents teams. We just have to keep giving him the ball. Incredible signing for us.
One of two things has just happened. Either Scott has agreed a new deal and we know we've got a 1.5 million player on our book already OR we've sold Scott and these lads who we've signed are the reinvestments.
Jamie Murphy is class.
We will finish top six if he stays fit.

Now this would be a statement of intent, previous injury is a bit concerning but if he stays fit weâve got some player on our books.
Interesting that if he does sign we wonât have anymore loan spots left in the squad providing we donât lose a loanee so if Boyce does leave could we expect a permanent striker coming in? Or will Clough be happy with what we have already?

If fit this would certainly be a statement signing, absolute quality seen him play a few time for Sheffield Utd and Brighton.

A bit player for Sheff Utd in a poor team till Cloughs magic eye spotted him, he gave him confidence, and he was a major player in their rise up the table from relegation spot to 7th in league 1 and the cup runs reaching the semi-final of the league cup and the F+A-cup, He was instrumental in their team. Talking to my friends about him i had not seen anybody with such pace and skill since George Best breath taking. Played in the Championship= Premier league.= Scottish premier league= and is a Full Scottish international. after a cruciate knee injury, he sees this has the place to prove his fitness. Determined to get back into the Rangers team. could be one Stella of a signing. Plays a lot like Templeton loves to run with the ball, with this pair no full back is safe. The last 3 signings have not come cheap. a shame if we lose anyone this is some squad we have, Boyce and Fraser could do a lot worse than sign a new deal and roll with the dice.

I think Clough should be allowed the minor level of flexibility to get this deal through. It is in no way going all out, but it's a good go.

As honest as always. It doesn't usually make the news with NC commenting on it specifically unless we're close. I fancy hell show up after the weekend. Interesting comment on Scotty as well. I just hope the trust he's built in Nigel means he'll listen when he's told he'll be better off with us for another six months. For the record, I remember that Cambridge cup tie very well. Murphy and then John Brayford arrival was not only the catalyst for the blades to go on a great run but the freedom they both played played a big part in Harry Maguire getting his fame back on track. I'll say again. If we land Murphy I don't care who leaves, we will be a better team with him at the club. Big chance for him to come in and be the main man. I hope we sneak a buy if were promoted clause. He'd be brilliant even a level up.

Broomo, I think, and you'll know, if you ask the manager a straight question, you get a straight answer. If this was someone we'd been speculatively linked with and there'd been no contact, he'd say "complete nonsense." So, equally, asked if there was anything in it, he admits we've asked the question. Whether the sums add up is a different matter. He very plainly rates the player.

It may well be that we now need to shift Liam or Scott to be able to afford Jamie.
As much as I love them both, I'd take that as Murphy is simply a better player than both.
It's the first time I've seen Nigel acknowledge Scott Wii likely leave, now or in the summer.
Reading between the lines I'd say Nigel is preparing US fans that Scott may be leaving us this window.
I THINK I know Murphy's agent and if it is who I think it is, he'll certainly be trying to get a deal over the line that suits us and the player.
I don't believe Murph would drop to league one for any other manager. My main concern with the link being made public is it may alert bigger clubs higher up the pyramid.
He really is too good for league one, even if only for five months.

I don't know the player and I shall trust the judgement and wisdom of those who do. From what is written it will be real coup to land the player. However, the note of caution I would provide is that you describe a player before his cruciate ligament injury.

I agree otep but this could work in our favour many players over the years have benefited from coming to this club, after injury issues =Brayford=Buxton Barker=Templeton=Quinn just to name a few. It is disappointing that Boyce and Fraser seem to be moving on, but Fraser came on a free and after fulfilling his contract would leave ,with my thanks and good wishes. Boyce the same, both have been a good asset to the club. Jamie Murphy leak has kept me going every 2=3 hours on the brewers webb site. If or when it doesn't happen it put us on the same page in the rumour mill with most clubs.
