John Terry - what a loyal chap. I'll just take my £40,000 a week and go, then...

It's not looking good for them, losses of £6,000,000 a month and apparently Dr. Tony was paying for it all on credit...

From watching the news and reading about it, if they'd won at Wembley and got promoted, none of this would be happening.
Oh dear...

All your eggs in one basket comes to mind. We has fans tend to forget for a player it is just a job, and Terry has fulfilled his contract with the club and like Akpan And Naylor will look at all the offers available. We as fans would sign straight away. Or would we will see if our season ticket sales hold up. Villa are a big club and investors will always be found and the Championship is not a league to dwell in for the owners or the fans. It is a multi millionaires playground. Prince William might be interested.

That's nice. How wonderful of Burton to help out little Villa in a time of crisis.

Happy this has happened. They threw all their money at the league. Too much money.
Can't pay your tax? Tut tut. They will have known what this tax bill would have been for months. Jokers.

On Sky News, it said the tax bill was £2 million. In the football world, that's peanuts, isn't it? If they can't pay that, they really are in trouble.

It's probably not far above their weekly wage bill.
