Thoroughly deserved point going by the stats
18 shots to 13 shots in our favour
8 shots on target to 3 shots on target in our favour
Not bad for away at Wolves!

We thoroughly deserved at least one point today. Our three at the back were superb. Big Ben was immense as was Brayford. Matty Palmer gets better and better. Jackson never stops and O!grady is such a great target others can play off. We were fab

Just got back, another brilliant hardworking honest Brewers performance. What a great game we have just witnessed. This is just getting better & better. I am one proud Brewer.

I love watching us perform this season. We play without fear and continually look to attack. They were brilliant again today, and deserved their point. It is almost unbelievable that our club can go to Wolves, and we come away feeling slightly disappointed with only a draw.

Proud to be a brewer today, every player put a shift in and we got the draw we deserved in the end. Even the overpriced tickets and food / drink could not spoil the day. Thought Jamie Ward had a good debut.

Great result, very happy. The only Wolves player who looked much cop to me was Costa lotta money and Ben Turner sorted him out early doors. Best team was the pub team (an insult delivered to one of our travelling companions). We were very much worth a draw.
Burton Boys - stop swearing and learn / compose some clever, funny and original songs. A bit embarrassing at times.

It was painful listening today, travelling back from Greater Manchester I lost radio reception near Ashbourne (scenic route back) that was around the time the Brewers scored.
Sounded a bloody good performance once again. Wolves were singing down my radio when they scored but boy could I hear Brewers! Brewers! at the end loud and clear.

Yes, an excellent performance again. I think that we have frightened the opposition in every game this season with our attitude, our work ethic, our determination, our fitness and our structure. The management team are to be congratulated on each count. We make teams look very ordinary. I felt a bit disappointed at only getting a point again today! I don't think we got what our efforts deserved. Disappointed in only getting a point at Wolves! I wouldn't have thought that when I was stood on the away terrace at Woking 7 or 8 years ago!
Their goal was a mistake by us and there was the penalty miss too. Many is the time Lucas has won vital games for us or put a penalty away so he can be forgiven for that one.
Their players were a bit naughty weren't they. Rolling about after every fair tackle to try and convince the referee it was a foul. The frequent appearance of the physio got tiresome. And of course 2 players booked for diving. One doesn't see two players get booked for cheating in a game often. I'll be honest with you, if we ever have a team that plays like that I wouldn't go.

Have the rules changed on penalties?
As Akins takes that penalty there are FOUR Wolves players almost level with the penalty spot - take a look
They've all run into the box with him
And one of them then gets to the rebound to clear the ball
Unless I'm unaware of a rule change a player isn't allowed in the box until the ball is kicked
That's the most blatant case of players being in the box ive ever seen
They were almost level with him??? The kick should have been retaken
Or have the rules changed?
Having said that I couldn't see why the penalty was given?

The penalty was for handball.
I freeze framed the kick as Akins struck it posts the pic on FB, 7 Wolves players were in the box or the 'D', 3 Brewers players (and Akins) likewise. The 'keeper was also marginally of his line.
It should have been retaken, it is no use saying every team does it, what is the point of a law in football, especially a line decision rather than a matter of opinion, if the officials ignore it? If Akins had scored it should have been retaken, by the laws of the game.

Couldn't agree more but thankfully their ridiculous play acting came back to bite them on the backside with far more time added on than would have been necessary!

Yes they did spend a lot of time rolling on the floor as if they had been shot. I can only presume that they have aspirations to play in the Premiership.

We had been warned both by sites on the web and a couple of Wolves fans ( the wife and daughter of an avid Brewer who would support us normally: they went in the Wolves section, he in ours) to hide team colours outside the ground. But when walking back to the car and surrounded by their fans one of them tripped and almost fell. befofe my brain engaged I found myself saying rather loudly, " ..mind you don't get booked for diving!"

Very pleasing performance yet again where we fully merited at least a point.
I think now after 6 games we can feel confident that this squad assuming it stays relatively injury and suspension free is more than capable of competing with the teams in this league on any given day. It seems now that week after week us supporters are more and more astounded how our little club keeps pulling out these performances against the big names of English football and we keep starting off sentences with "I never thought I'd see the day when .......". The players on the other hand just keep playing the eleven in front of them forgetting the ground we are playing at, the history of the opponents, the fact the we were once non league etc. We have a team full of players with Championship experience and younger players with everything to prove and their careers ahead of them. This is a good mix to have and the management team of done a great job in assembling this squad.
Overall a great start to the season with reasons to be very optimistic going forward. We are currently closer to the play off positions(in points) than we are to the relegation places and if we can hold this position as the season goes on it would be fantastic!
Really proud of the club and team yesterday and yet another day that we will remember in years to come! COYB!!!!

Very pleased that we managed to snatch what sounded a well deserved equalizer, "a draw away V Wolves in the league" BRILLIANT Didn't go yesterday out of principle (scandalous pricing) although I am wishing I had now Can't get to Fulham on Tues, so can't wait for Saturday, it seems like an age since I witnessed our non leaguers performing miracles. COYB Oh I nearly forgot:- The Sheep lost "again" as well

If Akins had scored it should have been retaken, by the laws of the game. I realise it nearly always happens. But normally it's 1 or 2 players at most - just entering the box I've never seen anything like this And the fact one of them was first to the rebound shows they gained the advantage they were looking for www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/10572854/wolves-1-1-burton?
